When several other reviews mentioned that the pizza was “solid”, I was hoping it just meant “traditional”, but yes, “solid” is, indeed, the best word to describe the pizza we had. There was nothing much wrong with our pizza, but it wasn’t outstanding either. It was just a very expensive solid pizza. Weirdly, oregano was quite unevenly dispersed. Had better pizza in NYC many times and made a comparable one in my home oven before. Wouldn’t return, but had to try...
It might look a little intimidating from the outside but don't let that fool you. This place might have the best pizza in Philadelphia... Beddia is an absolute genius. Hip spot.
Beddia is one of Phillys best. It is a sit down and be served atmosphere but is also relaxed and casual. Always found service to be excellent but as far as the fuller menu I do find it a little boring and could use some more expansive cocktails - but let’s be real you’re here for pizza.
