The Pizza Was Pretty Good But The Process Of Getting The Pizza. Not. So. Much. & It’s OVERPRICED!

My Friend Got A Mac & Cheese Slice & I Got A Slice Of Cheese. I’ve Never Been To A Pizza Place That Charges The Same Price For Plain Cheese Slices & Specialty Slices Until Now. They Also Charge $1 For A Pizza Box That Was New To Me As Well. The Cashier Didn’t Ask Us How We Wanted It (Box Or Plate) So I Didn’t Even Think About It Until I Saw The Receipt.

Even Though We Paid For A Box We Got Our Pizza On Plates & When I Told The Cashier He Gave Me A Box & Asked Me For A Tip LOL.

Coming from NYC, $9 a slice is absolutely criminal! The margin this place is making on a subpar pizza is capitalism at its finest.

Hands down some of the worst pizza I have had in my life, I can’t wrap my head around a business justifying the prices on this low quality of food. Price gouge for people coming in after going to bars. Stay away

Insanely expensive!!! Other reviews mention criminal, and they're right. You've even got people coming from NYC telling you you're pizza is crazy expensive! Stop gouging and taking advantage of drunk people and the community! You could surely still make money hand over fist without these astronomical prices.

I've been coming here since before it re-opened a decade ago. Gay Pizza saved me many a night after a night out and being open as late as they are. I'd happily grab 3-4 different slices whenever I came in. In the last few years I started noticing the bill approaching $40 every time. huh??? looking back at reviews pre-COVID I saw prices more what I was expecting, $6 for a specialty slice, still high but tolerable. Nearly $10 for a slice now is just ridiculous. Dont support greedy, price-gouging business owners like this.

$23 for 2 Sicilian slices of Pizza??? They're definitely price gouging the customers coming in from across the bar who had too much to drink. Pizza was decent but I'll never go back.

The employees have to deal with drunk idiots every weekend - I get it. But no need for every single employee to be rude to every single person, even the ones who are trying to follow the arbitrary rules.

Doesn't matter if the pizza is fairly good, I will NOT EVER AGAIN PAY $9.50 PER SLICE EVER. Why do they think they can get away with this? Place used to be ok pre covid, don't remember my heart palpitating when I saw the price. Even NYC pizza costs less than half that per slice. I have NEVER seen more than $7/slice. INSANE - GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE FOR BETTER EVERYTHING

last evening i came here and purchased 4 slices of pizza. i’d never been but knew it was in gayborhood so i wanted to try. the slices of pizza were around $40, for 4!!! i was so confused upon seeing the price. the staff was so rude when i asked. the service here is so odd, especially for a place that makes it seem as though they are such a staple of the gayborhood. it feels like they are taking advantage of that branding connection with how they price their items. they also don’t provide menus as a way of making sure you don’t know the prices until you’re checking out. it’s odd because it’s located around a bunch of clubs so it feels very manipulative and predatory that the prices would be that high, i looked at their menu on google and it’s $50 for an entree. i would not go here, something shady and weird is going on!!
