Honestly this place needs to close. I love play bowls and this location does a horrible job representing the company. The people are the most miserable humans I have ever met and you can’t get an order in less than 30 minutes. Something seriously needs to be done about this location and the staff

They gave me a rotting banana. Like I know you saw what you put on my bowl, ruined the whole thing. Paying 18$ for a smoothie bowl you expect decent quality which plays bowels usually provides. Won’t be coming back to this location.

I order smoothies from here most weekends for pickup. This past Saturday I ordered and paid ahead of time. When I arrived to pick my smoothie up, the store was not open! A few minutes later I received a text that my order was ready but the store was still not open. They should not be accepting orders if they aren’t open to make them. I tried calling the store many many times. Someone finally answered and when I started to explain what happened they hung up on me. I tried calling right back and again no answer. My husband ended up having to drive back the next day to ask for a refund in person. Not great service at all.

So, I started going to Playa Bowls, in general, when I was in college. I moved to Philly after graduation and was super pumped to find that there was a Playa Bowls in my neighborhood.
I order pretty regularly, but I started getting skeptical, though, about the cup sizes because I went to a different shop in NJ earlier in the week and I ordered today. Both times, a 20 oz smoothie. When I got my order home today, I decided, I'd measure it out to verify. I was given a 16 oz smoothie but I paid for a 20 oz smoothie with 2 add-ins. Pretty disappointed to be honest, so I'm probably gonna go to a different location or just make my own smoothies from now on. I was just coming back from the gym and needed an added bump so I stopped by.
