I was excited and expecting some fresh shrimp. But all I had was breaded shrimp and the breading was more than the shrimps uggh… I had the 12 piece shrimp platter and fries and coleslaw. Which both the fries and the saw was good. Definitely disappointed

Top-notch food and service. My order took a little longer than expected, so they threw in a free piece of cake and ice tea . That small gesture definitely made the wait worthwhile ?? PLUS the food was ?

I love supporting Black businesses. When I saw a lady on I think it was FB promoting and asking people to support this business, I was intrigued by the pics of the food. Everything looked yummy. My hubby and I decided to order Friday after work. I ordered the Triple Threat which came with snow crab legs, colossal shrimp and green mussels. Red potatoes, (which they cut for you!), corn, and broccoli (they ran out of corn, but gave me extra broccoli) are included. Hubby ordered the fried colossal shrimp which came with fries and seaslaw. Lawd have mercy! That seaslaw is a meal by itself! The portions were HUGE and everything was, to us, seasoned to perfection. We enjoyed our food and have leftovers for lunch. Pleasure Platters you have yourself two very satisfied returning customers. The food was so good I immediately called my daughter and texted my friend to tell them to give this place a try.

Best curry salmon ever not the fastest service but well worth the wait. Tried them for the first time and came back on payday!!!! Best freshest colossal shrimp have had yet. Pricy but again worth the cost once you taste the food. And don't sleep on the dessert!! Lemon Pound was on point!

Ok so I ordered the 1a platter and it smells so good. I haven't gotten home to eat it yet but I can't tell the owner truly cares about her customers. She had a phone call with a customer that had an issue eith the food (nothing major at all) and she (the owner was sad that something like that could've happened) I don't post this to bash the owner. I actually respect her more because she could've easily gave an attitude or brushed off the customer. We have all dealt with customer service to where we as the customer feels unheard. But she listened to the customer and worked out a solution. She kept her calm and did such a wonderful job. Her passion actually made me tear up while writing this. This is my first time coming here but def not the last. This is a black owned business and I'm so happy to be a philly native able to see this in our community. I wish this place nothing but good wealth and prosperity. If the owner does see this, please know your customers are grateful to have you. I will def be posting my food on tik tok! See you again soon.

The food is just average. I ordered the mixed fried seafood combinations. The batter used to fry the seafood lacks flavor. You can't taste any spices except salt. The seasoning comes from the 3 different sauces. You have a cocktail sauce which is ok. ( I believe it is bought commercially.) The tarter sauce is good. It tastes homemade. And, the 3rd sauce is a spicy thousand island sauce. It is different. I was disappointed with them because of what they charge for the food, and they don't have fresh lemon wedges. The platter comes with seasoned curly fries and fake crab and shrimp salad. The service is awful. The place is strictly take-out. The restaurant is located in a poor neighborhood, and the decor of the restaurant fits right in.
