Pretty expensive for a mediocre 8" sandwich ($17). Bread was crunchy but not toasted, felt a little stale and the eggplant was fairly tasteless. Peppers tasted great but overall would rather gamble on better food elsewhere

Located inside Human Robot (nice vibe, great service and excellent beer) Poe's sandwiches are absolutely delicious and really creative, as are the fries (and they are not soggy). Everything is well executed with the ingredients perfectly balanced. It is hard to settle on what to order. Seoulgirl is fantastic and I had a bite of a Baby Wook which was delicious too. The service at both Poe's and Human Robot is down to earth and friendly. Its an easy walk from Temple University and worth the trip! Already planning my next visit!

Listen! They are **in the back section of the bar** I lived walking distance for literal months without realizing I was missing out on this amazing craft hoagie joint!

Veggie and chicken options with fries. Delightfully updated takes on classic comfort flavor combos. Just got the "Mushman" that was like chicken Parm but green-- pesto made w/o pine nuts (?!?!).

They are so worth checking out. Roll through for a beer out front, chase it with a hoagie, cleanse w a cocktail inside... Fries togo? May the cycle continue. (Thanks to both businesses for making me feel welcome every time out<3)

Pretty anemic solo vegan option here. Came with family so I had to sit there and watch them eat their giant, juicy, flavorful sandwiches while I had a dry hoagie with raw vegetables and 3 skinny half-pieces of tofu (is there a shortage I’m not aware of?). For $16, I hope I am not hungry here again! Once again disappointed by the vegan sandwich option (singular) at a Philly joint. 3 stars for my family’s meat and cheese filled food which looked good.

Last time I was here, I had to pick up an Uber Eats order. Dude at the counter was completely disrespectful. After i gave them the order info dude told me it would be 30 minutes, and insisted I wait outside of the restaurant, which I refused to do. 5 minutes later the order was ready... I used to go here all the time around 2019 /2020. I dont think ill be coming back anytime soon. Owner needs to hire better staff, not just pissed off stoners who get easily overwhlemed and cranky
