The food, service and drinks were fantastic. Always a “ go to” before or after a Phil's game

This a very comfortable and easy to park “down home” Italian restaurant. The lunch menu is smaller but there are additions and they are willing to change or add items. Service was excellent and the spaciousness was appreciated. We enjoyed the linguine with mussels and shrimp feta diavolo plus good fried calamari. It is located in the Packer Park area of South Philadrlphia.

Unfortunately the chicken dish that was order was extremely tough and grisly. I have ordered Chicken Nicole many times before and was disappointed this time with the quality of the chicken. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Our server Riley was great.

The specials were what a majority of my table ordered. Everything sounded so good. The food was amazing, however, it is Alacarte so if you order fish, it is just fish on a plate. I got the stromboli and it was amazing.

We were there for a funeral luncheon.

We frequent Popi's when in town because the food and service and drinks are always fantastic. It was an exciting atmosphere last night because it was the opening game of the Philadelphia Eagles. The restaurant was filled with Eagle fans eating and drinking prior to the game! Loved our night there.

Was not impressed with food. Good, yes, but not spectacular. Also, everything is ala carte. My chicken meal was $30.00 for one piece of chicken topped with mushrooms and gravy. Plus bread was not brought out immediately until we placed an appetizer order. A true Italian restaurant ALWAYS has bread on the table as soon as your party is seated. They at least should give you either a soup or salad with your meal. Very overpriced.

We had just landed from a tough flight and just needed a place to eat to avoid the traffic. From the moment we stepped in everyone was so kind and endearing. The food.. the food was so fresh and every course impressed and stood up on its on. Best Italian restaurant I have experienced in many years. Reminded me of my Nonnie's kitchen. Thank you for the experience, I just might come to Philadelphia just to eat here again.

We had a great experience here before the Phillies game. Our order consisted of antipasto, arugula salad, chicken Marsala and chicken parmigiana, which were all excellent, timely and generous portions. Pasta and sauce were outstanding. I’m unsure of where the mixed reviews are coming from, because this is a must have pregame meal only 1mi from the stadiums. Thanks Popi’s!

Had not been to Popi's in about 10 years since I moved away but the food was still the same delicious and plentiful. Our waitress Noel did a great job!

Our team has eaten here many times and have loved it. Our last time on 8-12 was disappointing. Chicken parm was subpar. Smaller portions it seemed. The fried calamari was terrible. Either old , over cooked or both. Not sure we are going to return with our teams. Waitress was very nice however!

Popi's is one of the best places to go for delicious Italian meals. The service is always on par and the food comes out pretty quickly. Popi's is our staple before games or events at the stadiums right down the road.

A highlight of our trip, no doubt.

Attended a private 50th birthday party in banquet hall. First time here. Food was delicious, nothing overcooked. Private bar. Staff was delightful. Extremely clean facilities. Plenty of room on the dance floor. Hidden gem. Wondeful evening celebrating. I will be back for dinner in the restaurant section.

I went here around 2 months ago and tried to write to the owner several times concerning my visit and I received no response at all. Even though the owner knows me. I came there because of that and I was let down in my whole experience. The food was terrible along with the service. The entertainment I enjoyed. It looks like the place is being run in auto mode. Don't worry ill keep on posting my concern until some does reach out. I tried just to let the owner know about the whole experience through their own email so it doesn't come out on the air, but I guess that was blocked. Having owned 3 of my own restaurants this type of response from the restaurant owners means they don't really care about you only your money and not the way they rob you from it with the service and food.
