Visiting Philadelphia over Easter. Ended up at Prunella Sunday afternoon. The Honey Fitzgerald cocktail was amazing! Ordered the Caesar salad which was a great surprise to the tastebuds, and the pizza was just so damn delicious. The service and atmosphere was perfect. Had dinner the previous evening at The Capital Grille, but I enjoyed Prunella for the casual feel and experience we had. Prunella will be first on my list when visiting Philadelphia next. I just loved everything about it!

For perspective, we sat at the last table in the pack by the oven and kitchen. The food and atmosphere were truly great and we loved the idea of family style. Honestly our server was really kind and attentive as well. The head hostess & manager left a bad taste in my mouth after I saw how they both treated a door dash worker. They began to belittle him and say nasty things to him example “get out of here you are not a priority”. To me, regardless of him approaching staff about the door dash order, you do not treat someone like that especially in front of guests. It was truly upsetting to see them speak to someone like that. The doordash workers as well as the people that are ordering food online are just as a priority as everyone else. It’s disheartening because I was truly enjoying myself until then, to know that’s how they treat other people did not make me want to return. I truly hope they learn something from this encounter moving forward, always assume someone around you can hear… because I did.

Food was overall very good. Our server was nice but we definitely felt rushed. The dinner was for my boyfriend’s birthday and we wanted to enjoy a leisurely meal together but we were in and out in under an hour. We asked for a box for our leftover pizza which she kindly boxed for us, but when she brought it back to our table the pizza was literally folded and shoved into a tiny plastic to-go container. We were actually laughing at how ridiculous it looked.LOVED the spicy Caesar salad and the sausage/pepper pizza. The ricotta was just okay, lacking flavor.

The food was okay…. Meatballs has a little pasty after taste. The spicy Caesar salad was ard, not enough dressing. I also think the sodium level is very high because I have a slight headache now. So the bartender took my car to open a bar tab and she told me it wasn’t gonna be charge. It was charged $30 ! I’m still trying to get my money back on my card!

Had an awesome experience here, with one great dish after the next. Wish I had been fasting all day just so I can eat more of their delicious food. Meat balls were so delicate and rolled in a perfectly seasoned sauce with a dollop of delight thrown in. Paired with some Italian bread sprinkled with parm. Next whipped ricotta cheese toast had a little party on my tongue. Only to be chased down with the white claw pizza, which was expertly charred to perfection.. The words I have written don't even compare to the service we received at the bar along with a joyfull smile from the bartender hard at work and loving her job. Found another favorite

Great pasta and choice of drinks. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice and cozy vestibule seating option for those who want a bit of the outdoors.
I keep coming because the food and atmosphere are great. However, since they opened, the staff has continued to be rude and not accommodating, which makes me constantly regret supporting this restaurant when there are so many more welcoming spots in the city.

Our reservation was confirmed for inside for a family birthday dinner, but upon arrival was told outside was my only option. Poor service, awful hostess, and should be illegal to seat people outside in 20-degrees without heaters. Decent food but nothing special.

Love this place! Always amazing service, tonight from the bartender Tom! Honestly everything is good here but tonight I tried the eggplant parm, and the mushroom pizza, they were good just wish the mushroom pizza was more creamy or had a sweet element added. I also always get the whipped ricotta it’s a must have! Get their budino to finish it’s a huge part of what I look forward to dining here! Also their orange wine is beautiful
