Great spot to catch a few laughs!
Had a blast with Mr. bagg.... hysterical.
Fun show with surprisingly decent food and our server María was the absolute best!
I'm deducting a star for two reasons:
1.) drinks are real expensive and the quality of the cocktails does not justify it at all
2.) there were flies all around the stage and it was really distracting/buzzing in my ear
Food and drinks were great, show was awesome. Nice atmosphere.
The reason that I'm giving such a low rating of my experience last night is because of the Manager, Lee. 3 years ago my husband (who was newly disabled) and I were at this club and there was some confusion at the end. The staff worked wonderfully with us. So when I learned that my favorite comedian, Ian Bagg, was coming again, I attempting to contact Management to see if we could work together (last year he was at a different venue and the Manager and I spoke many times and she made things so smooth for us and it was so appreciated). I emailed and called at least 6 times 2 months before the show and left clear messages regarding my concerns. I didn't get any response until a week before. Lee was extremely impersonal and I felt like he didn't fully hear me.. As a person with a disability myself it's vital to be heard. He said to look for him when we arrived.. He was not accomadating at all and the table didn't reflect what I had expressed over the phone.. Had he heard me and perhaps asked a few follow up questions,, my own personal experience would have been much better. The show was wonderful however my experience was extremely unpleasant.

All presenters were funny. Enjoyed my visits at Punch Line Philly ranch time I went there.
Saw two great shows here. Two drink minimum is great - the make it explicit that water is an option on that minimum. Which is amazing for those of us that don’t drink.
Cool spot run nicely
Punchline was a great experience! It was larger than anticipated and provided that real comedy house feel. We went to see Michelle Wolf on a random date night and she was great! I love discovering people I had not previously heard of.
There is a two drink minimum here at Punchline, so plan accordingly. The staff was phenomenal. I purchased tickets for the night before thinking it was for Saturday. Not only did the staff accommodate us, we were given tickets to a comedy showcase in December.
The nightlife was great since it is near the water/river. Being down there by or near the water during the night just has a different feel, almost like being in downtown Philadelphia at night. That added to the ambiance, it gave it that "night out" feel.
I have officially added Punchline to my date night list. I try to find new places but I keep certain places in rotation. Everyone loves a laugh and compounding that with the space, staff, parking, and location, this is the comedy house I would prefer to come to.

Nice little place. It was my first time visiting. Wasn't happy with the 2 drink minimum. Cans of water were $6 each. I had the pretzels with beer cheese for $11. It's not worth it for 2 small pretzels. I'll know better next time if I go there again in the future.
I've purchased tickets at this venue and it wasn't very clear what came with my ticket however we were given wrong info about the event and wasn't kept up to date the event Also was supposed to be from 1-4, start time @2 and the supposedly host didn't show up until after 4 and the event went on til maybe 6 lack of communication for a bunch of nothing spent way too much money.its a brunch function still had to buy food and drinks. Not sure if I'll be attending again
We’ve been here several times and got complimentary tickets to a . Wednesday night show. Staff was very nice. Showroom is large and clean. We arrived a literally so had good seats. Our server took a bit to come around, but was nice. We ordered food and drinks (two-drink minimum per person. Beers are big and around $16). As The show was ending. We hadn’t seen our server in a bit. They were making announcements to leave the showroom, a cleaning crew was cleaning up as we were sitting there waiting for our check(over 15 minutes!). They charge 20% if you don’t close out, we should’ve just done that). When my friend closed out, the tip is set to 22% unless you change it- sneaky!) no receipt given. Some of their practices seem shady. They need more servers. The comics were great, but Helium is better run.
Went to see Affion Crockett. He was hilarious. The establishment was well organized. The two drink minimum purchase per person can be a soft drink or alcoholic drink. My drink was watered down but it’s to be expected in this type of establishment. I would go again and again and I would recommend.
Great venue, nice atmosphere. We didn't order much off the menu; as it was a sober-night-out, and we'd already eaten.
Easy to get to, but finding parking (off street) can be a hassle- especially on a weekend night, what with other things happening at other nearby venues.
