Fist experience here with friends on the weekend. Ambience is more a bar with a restaurant , than restaurant with bar. Food menu isn't fully descriptive. Food is decent. I ordered barbere chicken , not as spicy as expected and chicken was a bit tough without flavor cooked through, as if it was cooked seperate with sauce added. Having had Ethiopian cuisine several times before, I prefer other preparations / locations I've sampled. One big difference was the absence of a variety of combo platters.

Venue is a bit unexpected compared to what you may expect for an Ethiopian restaurant. It's essentially a bar that also serves Ethiopian food. Nothing fancy, waitress was also bartender. Decent food and decent service. Only complaint was as it got busy the waitress/bartender got busy and they didn't have extra staff, so I had to go to the bar to settle my check or I would've been sitting for a long time. On the fence as to whether or not I would come back.

West Philly knows what up with that injera life! I only eat the veggies but am grateful for affordable healthy food and drinks, all the screens for game time, and a welcoming atmosphere for all!

Went here for drinks for a friends birthday. Cool vibe, bartender was wonderful, friendly, and attentive. Beer was cold and prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back.

Very fast and friendly service. Decent Ethiopian food. This restaurant I would say is more of a place to go for drinks, but I liked it and would return. I had the veggie platter-beets, collard greens, cabbage, three different kinds of lentils and a garden salad. It was very filling!

Tasha and the ppl here at Queen Sheba are amazing. I’m coming back and bringing friends. Beef tips were fire!

After dealing with the rude and dismissive "manager" of the spot up the street, it was very refreshing to come to a place with friendlier, more respectful people. It's been a while since I've been in here, and I will be back! Cheers!

My family and I ordered takeout from the Queen of Sheba and the food was phenomenal! The portion sizes are great, but the food was so good we had nothing left over! This is an amazing local restaurant that adds flavor and culture to the University City community!!

That Ducky spot you want to lay low at, but might also get lit up at. Had too many wild ones there but definitely got a special place in my heart.
