This used to be a great neighborhood hangout. Now it's hosted by sullen people who told us that we had to sit at the bar if we wanted to be served. It wasn't even 11pm and the bar is 10 feet from the tables. Then they told us it was last call before 11...because we weren't sitting at the bar. Such a stingy attutude toward totally friendly customers. No good.

Becca and Jackie and (Angelina?) are the best of the best. Make me feel like I’m right at home. Always welcoming, always fun to be around. The whole staff is the reason I come back. I just don’t remember all the names. Probably bc of the good booze. The burger is great too, but I don’t forget names when I eat too much burger. Anyway, Race St Cafe, my favorite place in the city.
