I've been eating here for Years. At least twice a week. I hope it reopens. Best corned beef special Ever ♥️??
My original review is below. Changed rating because I find it really inconsiderate that this place seems to have closed permanently (from what I've heard the proprietor moved out of town and isn't returning) without a word to long standing customers or even the courtesy of a notice on the door. It's a shame because the food was very good and reasonable, though the main guy behind the counter was a bit gruff.Always good fresh food here, fast service. Wish they didn't have a sign on the door for the last month saying they'd open "maybe next week" after they've been closed for a month - original sign said they would reopen Jan 10. It's Feb 6. Anybody know what's up here? No info on website or at restaurant.
The workers here are pretty nice and I got diner vibes going here, the food was pretty delicious for what it is.
Literally doesn’t answer the phone, rude order taker when they do answer the phone ????
This place is a great little gem. We went for morning bagels and lux. Totally loved the portions within the bagel and the food was delicious. Totally a wonderful spot for breakfast.
Excellent Jewish breakfast items. I love their kippered salmon platter.
The people who work here are so rude
I enjoy the smiles!
Bagel with nova spread (similar to lox but not the same). Cost $4. Definitely tasty, little light on the Nova but still worth it for sure. Quick and pleasant service.Would definitely recommend this place.
A very friendly old fashioned dinner. Simple good tasting food.

Most under rated deli in Philadelphia. Always great service and very reasonably priced.
Disappointing. Got a combination sandwich and it was bland. The corned beef and pastrami just lacked good flavor.
Breakfast or lunch, all done right. Bagels and lox, delicious. Our group had everything from eggs to pancakes to bagels. Have been coming here for years. Sandwiches and soups are also excellent. My aunt, a lifelong Philly resident, brought us here every time we visited the city. Service is great, the owner overheard my daughter commenting that a pickle would go with the olives and her bagel. He brought out a plate of pickels for us. It's the little things. Not fancy just good.
two days ago was our first time we went to this place. But It is absolutely not the last time. We had great time with the attentive service, with the fine dishes and fine drinks and with the comfortable pay. We will absolutely return there in a short time.
delicious. great staff. Chocolate chip cookies are delicious. but have strong teeth lol
