Probably some of the best service I've received at a restaurant! The owner checked in a few times and showed us his joint business of a hookah lounge upstairs. We also learned about Ramiz's history and how it's a chain. This location is the first one established in the US. We received complimentary mix appetizer plate of dips and tea! Karişik Soğuk Meze / Mix Appetizer Plate- Hummus, baba ghanoush, labneh, and spicy vegetable dip THE SPICY VEGETABLE DIP IS INCREDIBLE! MUST TRY! Turkish meatballs - insanely moist and delicious! Would highly recommend! Chicken Adana wrap - could have used more meat in it and the fries were lacking salt but that's easily fixable! Sütlaç -the oven baked pudding was good The table cloth on the tables kept moving which was a bit frustrating, not sure what other restaurants do to hold it down. Menu has so many options, something for everyone. Bringing your family or a big friend group is a good idea!
Stopped in to Ramiz Turkish Grill on a whim. What a great, pleasant surprise. Ordered the Karisik Kofte (Turkish Meatball combination platter). My wife and both loved the platter, with two of each three different types of meatballs. We also split a small peasant salad which we both thought was excellent. We were brought a cold appetizer plate on the house. The hummus, baba, labneh and spicy vegetable dip were all top notch. Will definitely be back and recommend that you give it a try.

Delicious fresh food. Clean and bright space. Baba ganooj was delicious, tried the mixed kofte... tasty and juicy. Shepherd salad had a delicious and light balsamic dressing with fresh cut vegetables, very crunchy and flavorful. Baklava was just sweet enough and not at all soggy. They even do take out late. We will definitely be back. Welcome to the neighborhood!!!

The best thing was Azra’s service! Her service quality was truly exceptional! She was super professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. It was a delight to work with her.
Spectacular cuisine! We really enjoyed every dish, from salad to dessert. I had the meatball trio plate and it was phenomenal. My wife had the chicken and she is still raving about it. Had the most amazing kunefe (crispy unsalted cheese-filled dessert made with shredded dough, pistachios, and sweet syrup. It served hot from the oven so the cheese is soft and stringy - amazing!) tonight at Ramiz Turkish Grill (formerly Istanbul Lounge) on South Street. Hats off to Eddie the chef (tonight) and also to the whole staff. They treat you like family!!! Thanks, Sal and Eddie!!!Everything here is tremendous and authentic. I don’t lie.

We arrived at the venue a little early and the staff welcomed us warmly and with a smile. They said there was live music in the evening. We made a reservation for live music after lunch. I hope dinner will be as delicious as lunch, I highly recommend you try it too...

Just like we were back in Turkey. I had the Alexander Kabab, a good choice. The waiter, Honor, took care of us. Finish up with the Turkish tea and a sweet; I think their baklava was better than what I ate in Istanbul.

FLAVORFUL!!! We happened to walk into Ramiz for a bite to eat but didn't expect all the food to be this delicious. We both ordered lamb dishes along with calamari and babagannus and got to sample other dips with our pita also (sorry, I can't remember the names). When I say everything was perfectly seasoned, I mean it. The shaved lamb gyro meat was our absolute favorite as well as the ground lamb kabobs, the rice, and basically everything. We will definitely be back to try something new.
