Such a cool place to check out you're very friendly bartender and everybody that was sitting at the bar was really friendly as well so that made it that much better of an experience. Definitely a must check out. Just went again. Loveeee this place best bartender

I wanna give this place a one star only so it keeps it “locals only” but damn, I love yall so much.
With $4 citywides everyday feels like your birthday. Always magically has exactly enough seats for your whole group and not one other seat in the entire place. The regulars are drunk in a nice way and never mean. Plenty of drunk food around that is open late too. The pinnacle of dive bars.

This place was chill however make sure you bring cash (out of towners) also not great beer options either. Lastly, the bathrooms smell like pisssss. Just throw some fabulosa down(:

Truly a lovely dive bar. We were looking for a place in the area to settle in with a drink and our pizza pie and this place jumped out of nowhere. I cannot even begin to explain the theme of the place or the decor, but it doesn't even matter. We went during an Eagles game and the vibe was perfect for our pizza (you can bring in outside food). Cash only bar with super friendly service.
While in the city to grab a cheesesteak from Pat's I Google mapped the are to see what we were close to. Ray Happy Birthday Bar is just a block away. What a great little local spot. Our bartender (I believe was Chrissy) was on point with our drinks and just had that special personality that brings the whole bar together. Plenty of TVs around for your Philly sports
