I live practically right next door and wish I wanted to go here more. As sad as it is, my girlfriend and I go to pretty much any other coffee place, even walking 10-25 minutes just so we don't have to.
The coffee and lattes will not impress. If you get a latte, it will taste like milk. If you get a flavored latte, you can't tell the flavor. If you get a latte with oat milk, it will cost $7-9 and it will just taste like oats and leave a bad aftertaste.
I've tried a bunch of items here and the only thing I can stand by is their mocha. The mocha is pretty good and not insanely expensive.
Reanimator, I say this as a neighbor to you who would love to come in more and not have to walk 10-30 minutes to gryphon, la colombe, or milkcrate, please fix your lattes and prices. You have a great location with people who are willing to come in every day. Make it easy decision for them to come in and give you their money!

New to the area and was super stoked to try ReAnimator. Sadly we encountered a very rude and unfriendly counter staff. Iced latte was 90% milk and didn’t taste or look like coffee at all. I’ll never go back. :( as an ex barista/bartender this was just such a poor showing.

Great coffee, lovely range of pastries (and I love how they are attended to the local bakery of origin, naming transparently and positively), excellent wifi, good seating in and out to work and relax. And best of all, the most interesting, fun, welcoming, friendly staff anywhere. I’ve tried many, and this is world class. Always work better, relax more, and feel happier when there. I've been ordering whole bean coffee from Reanimator for several months now. Unfortunately, my most recent order included the wrong coffee. I know stuff like this happens so I shot them an email to let them know. They responded quickly and let me know the correct order would follow soon. Sent an email back to ask how to return the 5 lb. bag of beans they sent by mistake. They told me to just keep it or give it to a friend if I didn't want it. That bag of coffee was well over $100. Great way to create customer loyalty!

I miss the everything bagels they used to have where every milimeter was covered!
The ube latte was really refreshing on a hot day. The ube flavor was not overwhelming and I felt it perfectly balanced the oat milk taste. Also got a pour over and the baristas were nice about my request to have ice on the side.
