I went for their Sunday Brunch. We Ubered there because parking downtown can be pain at times. However, It was a cool, fun, and energetic atmosphere. There was a DJ playing music everyone could dance to, and the food was a buffet style that was tasty and edible. They provided bottles of champagne and juice for mimosa, but you have to pre purchase beforehand if you want additional bottles. Overall, It was a good time, and I would definitely go back.

I strictly am only giving this a one star because of the Dj’s. I came this weekend because last year for my birthday I had an amazing time . The food and drinks were the same . The service was a little different and the Dj’s were 100% inappropriate! Last time I came the Dj stayed behind the dj booth and played good music . This time not so much . First it looked as soon serveral males were Dj’ing and talking on the mic . They were very harassing . We were the table right by the dj booth and several of my friends said they felt very uncomfortable while being there . We noticed that when we were sitting the guys behind the dj booth we’re pointing and looking at us . We ignored it until it could not be ignored anymore . They actually kept saying something to our table on the mic . They came over to our table and made girls get out of their seat and dance . They asked several people for their number at our table and made inappropriate comments . Despite us asking them to stop. They even tried to physically pull one of our friends from the table . We leave the location thinking this is over . They follow my one friend outside while your by herself . While they are all huddled around her in a corner repeating saying they can take her home and trying to convince her to get in the car. The rest of us come out and they start harassing the rest of the girls in my group . All in all I feel like when people go out just to have a good time they shouldn’t be bothered , especially by the people who are suppose to stay professional . The only reason I am posting this because 5 girls texted me after explaining how uncomfortable they were being at rec and Royal . I hope this issue is fixed for the next group of people that decide to celebrate there.

I originally booked another brunch party in the city to celebrate my birthday but the venue cancelled two days before my event “via text”. I immediately went to Rec & Royals site in hopes of availability last minute for my party of 12. Thankfully it was and let me tell you, my friends and I had an AMAZING TIME! My section was spacious, the host was polite and very accommodating! The reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 is because of the buffet style brunch. The food was ok but the lines were long and it took awhile for the food to be refilled. They had DJ Casper as the DJ, he was in tune with the crowd and my friends and I danced the entire time. It was fun and I really enjoyed my birthday! I will definitely be back!
If you are looking to turn up at brunch this is thr perfect place. Went here to celebrate my nieces 30th bday and we had a ball. I was a bit late so I only grabbed a few things to eat. What I has was fine. But th party is nonstop the drinks were flowing and the music is on point.

The buffet wasn't nothing to write home about. It wasn't enough food options like its brunch but they had no eggs no grits only two chopped fruits not actual fruit salad no turkey bacon only pork. The champagne they serve for the mimosas was super light never felt not even slightly buzzed. And we had our own personal bottles and we didn't feel a thing. Nevertheless the staff was great and the Dj was great the club part of brunch was definitely a vibe.

One of my Philly’s favorite nightclubs. DJs are always playing a perfect mix of EDM/Hiphop/Latin. Bottle service and GA are both a great time, and the hostesses are phenomenal. Danny has helped us host numerous events with large groups and it’s always been a good time for reasonable pricing for night life. Highly recommended spot.

Awesome Place, amazing staff especially security and event coordinator! Danny was great to work with and plan service with, he was responsive and answered all my questions. I needed accessibility and the security team made me feel safe navigating the stairs and was extremely attentive and caring.The karaoke room is gorgeous and had a great vibe, super friendly people. The arcade is unique and a ton of fun! Latin night in the club had a really good DJ. Will definitely be back
