It was their last day of business. I will miss this gem in West Oak Lane. It was always a good time had at this neighborhood restaurant. A Black owned business that gave their community the very best‼️ Great run, Bynum brothers. Your dad, Mr. Ben, would be so proud of how you have taken his legacy to the next level and have established your family name throughout the city of Philadelphia. Thank you for the great times @ Relish?

Haven't been here in a while. Food was good! I had the Fried chicken , macaroni and yams and my daughter had the shrimp pasta. Would recommend. They should update menu with more options.

We were seated and waited on in perfect time. Waitress was pleasant, and food was outstanding. We were a party of nine. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Only request was to have individual checks which they could not accommodate. However, that was not a big issue and we worked it out. Definitely would recommend for a nice night out.

Shannon was our server and I want to commend her on a great job. She was always attentive and always came to our table with a smile on her face. You need more severs like Shannon. Get rid of the hostess who had on a green sweater Thursday ( 12.29) night.. she was a little rude and non accommodating. Make her a food runner or something where she has less contact with people. The drink orders were slow . I guess due to 1 bartender. When y'all have a full house like that, there need to be more than 1 person attending the bar.

Front staff and wait staff was prompt and courteous. Food was delivered hot, but green beans were a little hard, and they were out of turkey wings and collared greens, which was what one of our party wanted. Corn bread was excellent and a big hit. Atmosphere on the veranda was pleasant, as well as lively.

So nice to have this establishment in the community. The food and service are consistently good. They obviously have taken the time to invest in their staff which equals a good dining experience. Get the salmon or catfish. I deducted just one star because I would like to see some new menu items to choose from. Also, one star deduction because patrons are allowed to smoke right at the main entry door. If people want to smoke, they need to go to the parking lot. This should be enforced.

Everything was great. We were seated quickly, and the waiter was very professional. The only hiccup was it took a long time before our drinks were ready. We were almost finished eating our meal before they came to the table. The waiter apologized profusely. Also Relish is not vegetarian friendly. My husband was upset there was very little on the menu for him to choose from.

My friends and I were looking for somewhere to go for friendsgiving & thank god I found this place! We ordered: - cornbread (10/10) - multiple of my friends said that this was the star of the meal - Mac and cheese (7/10) - good but I've definitely had better - hot and honey chicken with collard greens and Yukon potatoes (8/10) - good seasoning and a very good portion size - j*** salmon (I'm actually not sure how this tasted as a friend ate it but she noted it was good) - catfish (10/10) - my friend finished alllll of this off of her plate Our server was swamped but still made sure to check in on us and also was very kind & sweet!! There's live jazz music Thursdays to (either Saturdays or Sundays?) & it's definitely a very nice experience to have while you're dining!

Relish wasn't bad but nothing in particular stood out. The food was alright and our server was very attentive. The live music was a plus and made the experience pleasant. We were staying downtown, so it was a 30 minute drive which I wouldn't do again. It was too meh.

From the setting of the reservation to the end of our meal = great experience!! I haven't visited Philly ( Relish) since the beginning of the Covid Pandemic so on my visit back I hit all the spots I favored in the past and Relish was one and it didn't disappoint! The service was excellent the food was awesome and our whole party was consistent in our thoughts- this was a great idea for girls night out!!

I would put Relish into the group as being one of the best soul food spots in Philadelphia. The Hot honey fried chicken with greens and smashed potatoes were delicious. The greens had turkey meat in them and were not overly seasoned. The "smashed" potatoes were good. The chicken was just so juicy and tender and not dried out. The Hennessey Sangria was delicious along with the mango pineapple bread pudding.I thoroughly enjoyed the live band that entertained us with real music. The service could use more hands to allow more attention to tables and not hailing them down when you needed something. There are no substitutions as well but I'm not sure if they can exclude shrimp from a dish. In all I had a great time and will be returning to try other items.

Relish gets better each time I visit it! Thursday nights are live!! The entertainment is great with new and upcoming artists singing along as the live band plays. The food is absolutely delicious and there are so many good drinks to choose from. The service, as always, is unmatched. Everyone is attentive and eager to ensure you are satisfied. If you haven't been, get there!! LOL
