We enjoyed our meal at Rex at the Royal.
The Not So Crabby Cakes (vegan crab cakes) were a nice alternative to the traditional dish with heart of palms acting as the 'meaty' crab bits and it still had nice seasoning and evoked the spirit of a crab cake but was also similar to a vegetable croquette.

The Catfish and Cornbread Waffles were another highlight for me as well. Really tasty and fresh catfish with soft cornbread waffles.

Atmosphere was gorgeous. Visually stunning. Food was decent. The desert, the tart was definitely frozen and not fully thawed....then cut in half. Service was nice but forgetful with less than 5 tables full....

Yummmmmmmm.. that really sums it up! Food was fantastic. I had a burger and fries and it's one of the best in Philly I've gotta say! The service was top notch as well, just a lovely vibe all way round!
