It's rare that a pizza place can get a sauce that has a pretty decent balance of sweetness to seasoning, especially at the price point that Ricki and Maria's has it.The white pizza is delicious back at it with ricotta and ask for it. Well doneToppings on the standard cheese, pizza are not skimpy and there's a good cheese to sauce ratio.

Roxborough did not have any decent pizza until Ricky & Maria opened shop replacing the defunct Roman's Pizza. The pizza is delicious, only complaint is that the crust is too thin for my liking. I don't need to have my order delivered since they are a short walk from my house. Yay!

We thought we would try a different place and this was it. Menu is way to large sandwiches dinner's appetizers. Way too many things. It was just ok. We got cheese steak. Crab ravioli. Chicken Marsala. Steak and baked potato. The cheese steak was just ok. The ravioli were good. The steak and potato. Not worth the money. The chicken Marsala they give you a lot but not the best at all. I even got sick over it. We ordered delivery and it took 2 1/2 hours. These restraints are trying to save money using slice delivery and they are losing respect with their food establishment cuz slice is always late

Character Moments

Heard good things about this place, but was very disappointed. Ordered 2 pizzas (cheese on both slid right off, making a huge mess in the boxes), fries (which were CLEARLY made with rancid oil, stank, and were inedible), mozzarella sticks (again, rancid oil - but also undercooked), a steak roll (gummy, overcooked steak, and made in bread, not a croissant as the menu states), kid's tenders (again, gross, as they were made using rancid oil), tiramisu (which arrived melted), cannoli, brownies (both fine).Contacted the store requesting a refund or replacement order - was told we might be granted a refund if we brought the food to the store. We ordered in because we couldn't go out - one of us recently had knee surgery and really can't get around. Not to mention I shouldn't have to take time out of my day for your screw up.This was our first order at this dump and we will not be returning. There are SO MANY incredible pizza options in the neighborhood. This one will not be around for long if this is how their food tastes and how they treat their customers. ah well.

I moved to the area, and the hunt is on for good Italian. I will say I’ve been lucky to live near some of the best in the city, so it’s been an uphill battle to find a suitable replacement.I tried Ricky & Marias by the many recommendations from people. I wanted it to be better. I did. It started with a 3x longer wait than I was initially quoted when placing the order, and then the food was cold and inedible in its current state. So now it’s 830 and I have to heat up all my food.As you could have guessed, it didn’t heat up all that great. I can’t be sure as the chicken parm was so cold I had to reheat it, but it might have been chicken tenders with mozzarella and sauce thrown on them.People raved about the meatballs, so I had to try them. They were nothing to write home about. There was very little texture inside and not something I’d get again. I will stick to my home made BPV meatballs that blow these away. The calamari was hot at one point as was the sauce as you can see from the melted plastic container for the marinara. There was a salad thrown in and a small piece of focaccia thrown in.The garlic knots were one of the better choices I made. They were garlicky and had a nice chew to them. Unfortunately I won’t be ordering from them for a garlic knot only. The search continues.Seeing the 4.7 and the other reviews maybe I got a bad first attempt here. Maybe I’ll try it again some day.

Ricky and Maria's never disappoints!! Everything from their appetizers to their pizzas and pasta entrées are handmade/homemade and delicious! From the moment you step in the door, you are greeted with the warmth of family and treated the same. You can tell Ricky and Maria enjoy what they do and it comes across in every facet of this business! Give it a try!Parking: The parking is on-street, so it is first come, first serve. This sometimes makes for a difficult parking situation, but it is possible to find a place to park.Kid-friendliness: They are super kid-friendly here! They are always willing to do what they can to modify any dish to cater to even the pickiest of eaters.

Got the meat lasagna and large Ceasar salad and garlic knots. The food was delicious and great portions. The location is smaller and only has two tables with chairs, but the people providing service are friendly and polite. They were accurate with when my food would be ready. Will be ordering from there again.

The flattest Sicilian pizza I've ever had. The rise barely exceeds a quarter of an inch, except for the crust. It felt like paying extra just to have someone cut my pizza into squares.Even if this place does thin crust style in general, offering Sicilian is them advertising a thick, chewy crust with bits of crispy, caramelized cheese around the edges. That said, it still tasted good for what it was (pepper flakes and garlic powder added at home).

And here I thought Manayunk/Roxborough didn’t have good pizza, let alone good Italian food.. Brooklyn style pie(thinner style square pie), chicken parm with penne and shrimp scampi were all
