Food is quite good and reasonably priced for a center City Italian restaurant. The cozy atmosphere is really what makes this place.

I had fried calamari (fine) and veal d'oro (again fine) plus an espresso martini (kind of watery, not rich enough). I would go back and try other options though.

For the price of the meal, I was expecting much more. The place could use an overhaul from the 80’s. Not bad. Just meh.

Parking: The voucher ad doesn’t work! Don’t pay the $10.

We were a party of 3. We arrived at our reservation time And waited at the front desk to be seated along with several other tables. Our appetizer came in a timely manner but was awful, grilled calamari was really tough. Then our waiter disappeared and our meal took an hour and a half to appear. My daughter's ravioli was hard and unappetizing. They took my daughter's meal off but now, despite having left 2 plus hours for dinner we had to rush to get to the Theatre. They also took quite a while to get our check back to us. So disappointing!

We had our wedding reception of around 100 people at Buca D'Oro!! We love that it's a family run business, and they were amazing throughout the entire process. We had some interesting requests (beverage fountain, live music, discoball, etc), and they went above and beyond to accommodate. There was so much amazing food, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere was perfect. It was truly better than anything we could have dreamed of, and we're still getting compliments from our guests. We are forever grateful to Tea and her team for making it such a special occasion!!

Lunch at Buca D'Oro was a delightful experience. The ambience is fabulous with beautiful murals and hanging works of art. The restaurant provides the feeling of actually being in Italy due to the structure and decor. The lunch menu provided choices which were appealing to me and my compsnions. The food was delicious, presented attractively, and reasonably priced. Our server was gracious and helpful which added much to our satisfaction. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant and plan to return.

We ate in the back room which has much more atmosphere and better lighting than the front room. The staff was pleasant enuf, even though the bus person didn't speak a word of English. The decor is dated, ugly fake flowers in cheap glass vases. A simple candle treatment would've been better. Also something I have never seen before, the vases had large handwritten numbers taped to them. I inquired and was told it was so the server knew which table to go to. TACKY! The food, however, was very good. I had chicken franchaise, so tender and delicious. Others had rack of lamb, veal parm, pasta arrabiata. All really good. Prices were good too. Will go back.

Awesome authentic Italian dishes from their eggplant starter to a veal entree capped with a perfected espresso and cannoli.

A cozy place, with a very attentive staff, delicacy and warmth, going down the stairs makes you feel in Italy without having to leave the city of Philadelphia.

My daughter and I loved the place, its desserts and its delicious dishes.

The staff was very attentive and friendly!

The prices are affordable.
