Buca D'Oro is one of our favorite restaurants in Philly. It's Italian fare is "light" as opposed to the heavier Italian dishes that are commonplace throughout the city. From Appetizers to Entrees to Deserts, the dishes are delicious. Wines are also very good and reasonably priced.

The antipasti platter was disappointing but the Entrees and good service really balanced this out. The pasta was very good, wonderful flavor compositions. It's good for an easy dinner day.

The shell fish on the linguine dish was not very fresh but the fish of the day was fresh even though the sauce was a bit overdone. Nice desserts and perfect expresso ended the meal. $15 for parking in Walnut garage made visit easy.

It was like dining in Italy. The decor if beautiful and the food and service are fantastic. This was our first visit there and will not be the last. It is also in walking distance to the Walnut Street Theatre.
