Such a lovely neighborhood gem! I have come here with my family for several years. The coffee is great, the baristas are friendly, and the atmosphere is always cozy. They have excellent muffins and fun seasonal coffee drinks. Would highly recommend if you’re in the neighborhood! Of note, inside seating is limited and there is just street parking. It can get very busy on weekend mornings.

Very popular and busy throughout the day ! Yummy coffee, and the employees are so fun and make the environment lovely. Still was able to focus well and get work done! Just a tad tight on seating but over it was fine!

I go the extra distance to get their wonderful mocha. It is deep, rich, and unsweetened - you can add simple syrup if desired.

I usually love to get my coffee from Rival Bros, but for the last two mornings had horrible customer service- guys are grumpy, not happy to see customers, not paying any attention to the customers waiting next in line (instead of taking orders he was restocking the cups which were not needed to restocked while customer waiting to order), the other one is telling everyone that he is happy he is leaving this place, in two days!!! What the heck happened? Not coming back, will look for another coffee shop unfortunately! :(

Good coffee, but wifi doesn’t work. They took my email for marketing purposes and $7 for coffee but didn’t give me any wifi access in return 😵💫
on sundays, during rush times (11:45ish to mid noon), it could get a little crowded and noisy. noise cancelling headphones are best to concentrate if need be for study/work.
there is enough seating, if you get there early enough.
they do their best to restock the treats as often as they can and keep things tidy!
had a delicious pumpkin spice latte and almond croissant!! the barista and cashier were super sweet and the service was quick.
i did notice you are able to have dine in plates for pastries, but i wasn’t asked, so next time i’d like to opt for that.
unfortunately, the wifi was a bit iffy for me, but i might need to do another visit and see how to get better connection.
would go there again to try the matcha or grab another latte!!

I visited this coffee shop for the first time today and was incredibly disturbed to see a hate symbol openly hanging on the wall. The image is tucked away in a corner near the bathroom and clearly shows a white power hand gesture with the words made in USA. This will be my first and last visit to Rival Bros, as I cannot support a business that openly displays white power symbols on the walls. I hope this gets addressed and taken down.
