Attempted to try this place last week. Out of some menu items. It has a limited menu l.
Returned to try again. Staff was pleasant and prompt. Smash burger w fries was very good and fair price. I splurged and had 2 old Fashioneds. Elijah Craig bourbon, not well but certainly not premium priced. Total for 2 drinks was $42. Way too pricey. I asked if it was a mistake figuring it had to be. Nope each was over $20. I have had better drink with more expensive bourbon for a lot less. Be warned.

Happy hour deal is great! Vibes are good. The guy bartender was a crabby apple tho sorta killed the vibe.

One of the few bars in Philly that puts a pending hold charge ($50?!) on your card, not to mention, with no notice from the staff. Bartenders seemed disinterested and I had to wave them down when there were only four other people at the bar (staff were on their phones the entire time). There are better spots in Old City to visit.

Rotten Ralph’s is our first stop whenever we visit Philly. They have amazing food and great service. Luke slings a mean beer and is great conversation. You can’t beat the location with its open doors right in the heart of Old City Philly. If you’re in town, stop by. Ask for Luke. Get a green tea shot. Then get another.

Rotten Ralph’s is amazing. Great food, cold beers, the service staff is awesome. The breeze comes through the doors on the corner. It really is an all day spot. Luke in particular slings it like a pro behind the bar.

Hadn't been here in 10+ years so we decided to stop in late on a Sunday night on our way back to the hotel. Almost completely empty. Sat at the bar and was immediately greeted by Lexi (not sure of the correct spelling). She totally made our night. The perfect combination of no nonsense Philly attitude while also making us feel welcomed and appreciated. She let us play DJ for a while and made sure our glasses were never empty. We stayed here waaaay longer than anticipated, in a good way. Would certainly stop in again. Thanks, Lexi!

Hey this place was fun. We were just walking by and decided to just stop in for a drink and snacks. Great decision. Jaclyn was working the bar and tables by herself and did a great job. Food and service rocked. Three cheers for Jaclyn from our table of 4 👏🏽

Awful serviced all around
I actually really liked Rotten Ralph’s. It’s got that laid-back Old City charm, and the sidewalk seating is perfect—especially if you’re a smoker. The food was solid, the service was friendly and quick, and the whole atmosphere just felt easy and unpretentious. Great spot to kick back and people-watch with a good meal.

Came in because of the 2 star review painted on the window only to be disappointed that it was wrong. The bartender was great, beers were cold and atmosphere was good. Whoever rates it lower than maybe 4 stars is more bitter than a sour gummy.
