I ordered the gumbo and was very disappointed. It’s very soupy, too spicy & not enough rice. The rice is hard and scarce, the okra is dense and the other veggies are not stewed well. It’s giving SOUP not gumbo. There’s no roux, but if you want real gumbo, go to Newman’s grill, not here. The service was okay. The atmosphere is inviting and clean. I did eat it tho cuz I don’t believe in wasting my money lol

On Saturday, I purchased a fried shrimp and fried fish basket. The shrimp was tasty but everything else was TERRIBLE. It tasted like everything (fish, shrimp, and sweet potato fries) was dropped in the same oil. I have a strong stomach but this made it upset. I'm also not a picky eater. I couldn't finish the meal, ended up throwing the fish and all of the sweet potato fries away.

Ordered a chicken low mein,but that was not chicken in my food ,tasted like imitation crab meat.i called and was told oh no that was chicken.i know what chicken breast look and taste like.

I'm from south Louisiana first off. I ordered a shrimp poboy, fried catfish and carrot cake with the expectation I would get the fee slice of cheese cake Grubhub was promoting. The shrimp still had the tails on ,which meant I had to remove the tails before I could eat the poboy. The oil the shrimp were fried in taste old and or burnt. Shrinp weren't seasoned I guess the romalade was supposed to give them flavor, but I still sprinkled some Tony"s on it. The carrot cake was disappointing as well. The layers were thin like it was KETO, but of course it wasn't supposed to be. And lastly, no free slice of cheese cake.

For a fast food seafood restaurant this place is legit good. The only thing I have tried I didn't like is the Mac n cheese. The fries and sweet potato fries are delicious. My favorite thing to order is the shrimp boil with broccoli. The broccoli is absolutely delicious and much healthier than ordering fries. The shrimp is always fresh and some of the best I've ever had. I've The prices are extremely reasonable.
