Saad’s has one of the best cheesesteaks in the city. Yes, you heard that right. The halal nature of their cooking means they have the finest meats, cheese, and bread. The steak was very flavorful without the greasy mess that a lot of others have. The fries are amazing, too. The place is a little small so getting it to-go is recommended. All-in-all, you can’t go wrong here.

Ordered takeout on Dec 4 '24. The chicken maroosh sandwich was very good - but perhaps overhyped. Got as takeout, so maybe can be even better fresh, though was still warm when ate it. Ordered by phone at 5:15p and was told 30 min wait. Big portions - sandwiches and large hummus. Restaurant smells great and has friendly service.

No complaints about the food or about the friendly owner but I just had a disappointing experience which people who do not dine in should be aware of. I called to order for pickup. The order taker said that I must prepay by credit card. I did. When I got home I found on the receipt not one, not two but three taxes and fees excluding the tip. The taxes and fees added about 17% to the food total: "Misc tax," "Tax 1" and "Cust Svc" - the last one presumably...
