Worst tofu banh mi I’ve had in my life - they literally threw some tofu stir fry in a bun and called it a day. Bok choy, broccoli, wilted greens, and cabbage have no place in a banh mi. It was barely edible as such.

Love this place. Reliable and consistent local lunch out. The Banh Mis are great and you get a lot for the price. Grab a coffee from Poppy's while you're there.

Absolutely horrible. I had a BAD experience here. First time I left Chinatown hungry. The food was barely edible. I do not recommend.

The guy behind the counter - I assume Charlie- was rude. Customer service matters!

Our go-to Vietnamese spot! Pho is always delicious, BahnMi is amazing, Chao Gio is great! And we love the owner, Charlie. He is a great guy. 10/10 would recommend

My chicken Pho came with lettuce. No basil, no mint, no lime. Shredded chicken. Very far from being authentic or delicious.

Charlie is an amazing dude! It was a busy saturday night but he handled our own blunder and re-prepared our soup for us. The food is absolutely delicious and at a good price. Please come here if you’re looking for good service and food. Thanks again Charlie, go sixers!

The building is called 8221 Market that houses the restaurant(it is behind the Chestnut Hill Hotel). The inside is like a smaller version of The Reading Terminal so you have to walk around to find it. The service was regular nothing special he took my mom’s and mine order and the wait was no longer than 30 minutes. Now the food, honey! The pho was amazing, my mom had chicken and I had Vegetable with tofu. I never had a veggie broth so flavorful, and it had this spicy sweet sauce on the side that I would dip my tofu pieces in. And the amount of pho that you get is definitely 2 servings. This place will be my go to this winter!

This Vietnamese noodle bar is a gem inside Germantown food market. There were so much to choose from and we happen to find it while looking for pho in the area. You can dine in or sit outside where there is plenty of tables. The menu is not complicated. It has all your favorite and served quickly. Charlie has great social skills
and takes great care of his customers. Food was served fast. The beef broth is flavorful. The bread for Banh mi is very crispy and seasoning is good. If you are a fan of Vietnamese food then this little spot hidden inside the marketplace is a great options when visiting in the area.

Parking: Decent size parking. Much not be enough and have to park on the street when it gets too crowded.

Ridiculous! I ordered through a platform that the vendor must have approved on their Google maps, and walk there and they kept saying no order is placed. I tried contacting the third party app and no response from them. Took about half an hour more to get the food. The guy working at the cashier kept saying that he doesn’t know that platform but how can it be on your google maps without your approval. He was not helpful at all and was like sorry I can’t do anything. Finally the order came through after 20 minutes. So, clearly they work with that platform. Hated the experience.

Love love LOVE this place. Order from them at least once a week, usually pho or appetizers but sometimes banh mi. Literally no complaints. Amazing food, good portions, good prices, prepared quickly and the people are always super nice. I saw a couple reviews that were not so pleasant, from awhile ago- I'd urge these reviewers to give them another go now and reconsider. I've been a regular customer for a couple years now and they've been super reliable for me!

There are some selective eaters in my household and the Pho Tai (pho w/ rare steak) is always a hit. We order takeout and the food is packaged very well. The broth stays extremely hot, and the steak and fresh garnishes are packed separately. The Banh Mi Thit Nuong (grilled pork) and Banh Mi Bo Nuong (grilled beef) are also tasty. Very fresh ingredients.

Vegetarian options: At least one option in every category.
