The donuts at SPK rule. The apple fritter is amazing! I like the breakfast sandwich. The people that run it are really nice.

It's cash only.

Okay it’s not actually called spk, but the ladies are so nice and the breakfast sandwich is what you wish McDonald’s tasted like

If you're looking for a cheap bacon egg & cheese this is the go-to. Nice little gem in the Italian market! Donuts are solid

Thank you to the young man working this morning. I was lost in Italian Market and just wanted some coffee. This place was open! Great coffee, perfectly made. Cozy and personal. Definitely worth a stop.

Great little corner donut shop. The Apple fritters were fluffy and perfect and the ladies’ counter service warm and delightful. So happy to run into this place and keep up the great work!

Yum! Tasty, crispy donuts! That’s right, crispy! The ones I tried all had a nice crisp/crunch to them. Not many donut shops have the white crème donut and apple fritter that I prefer, but they do! Good size donuts, and reasonably priced. While it’s a bit of a trek for me, it’s now my go-to donut shop in the city! Conveniently located at the Italian Market.

I set out to find the best breakfast sandwich in South Philly, and I think we have a contender for the best budget sandwich. $3.50 for a bacon egg and cheese on a flaky, tender, hearty croissant. And the donuts! I bought a Boston cream donut for my partner and took a bite just to try it, and it took everything I had not to wolf it down. These donuts are *good*.

March 2021. Open during COVID. I got 2 glazed, 2 powered jelly, 2 frosted apple pie and 1 Apple fritter. Total was $7.50. These are the best yeasted fluffy donuts in the Italian market. Been around for 25+ years. Pictures speak for themselves.

This is a horrible donut shop. When I came in to ask for 2 sausages, she put them in the microwave for 45 seconds! Nasty. Then she pulled buns out the water ice freezer, and microwaved that too. I’m disgusted. I asked for 2 dollar water ices. She put them in a $2 cup and when I told her no. She said we about to close. I don’t feel like it. Disrespectful. Then the Asian heavyset man was feeling all on the donuts with white icing. This store needs to be shut down. They are trifling. I came here on 04/27/2018
