Samarkand Food Market Reviews
We loved their food but Most of the girl waitresses are rude there. We use to go there almost once a week but because of their rudness we stopped going to this restaurant.
My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant!
We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! If you are ready for a new and unique dinning experience this is the place for you!
Samarkand Food Market offers great service, spacious and well-decorated interior, and delicious Uzbekistan cuisine. The Plov, national dish, was amazing, full of flavor with tender beef/lamb. The samsas were similar to samosas but with unique spices. The beef and lamb skewers were tasty but left a lamb aftertaste. The halloumi cheese skewer was salty and chewy. The restaurant has ample seating, parking, and clean toilets and it is halal. Although slightly pricey, the overall dining experience was good. The reviewer plans to return to try other menu items like bread, salad, soup, and red fruit punch, and has already recommended the restaurant to friends. The restaurant also offers a prayer room for guests during Ramadan. Manager Richard is attentive and welcoming. The atmosphere makes you feel Asian hospitality.
