Great anniversary dinner. Our waitress was great and the food was excellent. 5 stars

The lighting in this place was perfect. Not too bright, and not too dark.

Morgan was absolutely exceptional! They were incredibly attentive, always making sure our drinks were full and our needs were met without being overbearing. They were also so knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations that were perfect for our taste.

Our server Izzy was absolutely phenomenal. The tasting menu was a great deal and a lot of food. You get to try a little of everything. If you are visiting from out of town like us, definitely stop by.

Meh. Weird flavor combinations that don’t really work, but I guess that’s “pan Asian” for you. Also the woman working at the check in was rude.

My go to when in the city. Happy hour everyday from 4pm-6pm. Quick turn around on food and drinks.

Went there for a birthday. Great time.

This place was, no joke, one of the *best* meals I've had in a long time. The service was impeccable, the prices were reasonable, atmosphere was stellar. We did the chef's tasting menu (for $55?! are you joking?!) and it was even too much food. This restaurant was a lot of fun. Try something new and enjoy yourself!

I have heard such rave reviews of this restaurant. I have gone twice and had, ok experiences. The environment is wonderful and the waitstaff did a great job. However, I think that the food could be more memorable. I enjoyed the mushroom shumai were delicious and I could've eaten 50 of those. Everything else in the meal, I could've gotten more memorable food at other restaurants.

Food quality has decreased… Amazing happy hour super nice staff. The ambience is great. However, the food has definitely took a shift. The food is still delicious. Don’t get me wrong, but you can tell if you have been there before the quality of the food has declined.

Sampan has one of the best Happy Hours in town! From 4-7 PM, the drinks were great, and every dish we tried was a solid 10/10—except for the calamari napa cabbage salad, which wasn’t my favorite. But the ceviche? Easily the best I’ve ever had!
We sat at the bar, which was a bit of a tight space, but the bartender did an amazing job organizing all our dishes so we could enjoy everything comfortably. The service was on point, and the flavors were incredible. Definitely a must-visit spot!
