My friends and I saw this place on yelp and had to check it out. The food was decent but didn't meet our expectations. We got the lobster poutine and burgers. The lobster poutine was pretty good but nothing special about it. The burgers were decent but again, nothing special about it. The service was pretty decent tho.

Excellent food and extremely friendly service in a beautiful historic building

This was a nice place for a hamburger, sweet potato fries, and possibly onion soup. They were open late enough to go after the Walnut Theater performances. Unfortunately, they closed this week.

The food here is pretty good. Never have had a problem. Today, my coworkers and I had a work lunch and our waitress was PLASTERED. Almost blacked out drunk. We were the only people in the restaurant and she messed our order up twice, had us waiting forever for the food and then the check. It was all quite entertaining but totally not acceptable for a restaurant like that.. She was stumbling, hiccuping and slurring her words fumbling for our check, then she had to muster all her might to fish her pen out of her apron. If you're planning on having dinner there tonight, i hope she sobers up in time for dinner service. Don't drink on the job hunnies, and if you do don't get so sloppy - it's not cute.

Located on a busy corner off Chestnut, sits Sandler's. My friends and I decided to come for lunch on a weekday and was met with subpar service and petite portion plates. Our hostess sat us quickly, but our waitress was quick to disappear throughout our dining experience. I would understand if the restaurant was busier, but to have to ask for takeout containers 3 separate times with 3 different employees working the floor is pretty inexcusable. The food itself was also underwhelming. The gimmick of putting the sandwich on a stick to dunk into the soup was unique but failed to save the dish. The portion was tiny and my friend had to get another dish. The avocado toast was also tiny and the bread was soggy. My girlfriend also asked them to fry the egg so it was not runny, but they failed to do that. I ended up getting the lobster fries, and while it was a heaping plate, the fries were completely soaked. The front house and the kitchen were both disappointments, and we won't be back.

Nice spot for date night. Live music at 6pm on a Friday night. Fast service and great customer service. They have a dinner menu but they also have all day breakfast. The burgers seem to be really popular here. Only thing I would say are they are light on the seasoning. The drinks are great because they are loaded with alcohol lol. I would definitely return.

Disappointed for price. Food was good but expected something more. I get its downtown. But

If I could give it a zero star I would! I feel like I should call the cops because I just got robbed for paying the amount I did for such garbage food. My wife got the veggie burger and she barely ate it because she has self respect and wouldn't lower her standards to such embarrassing food. I got the turkey burger, which I believe was under-cooked so that will be funny getting sick later... and fries which were so under-cooked that they might as well have given us whole potatoes!!! I am so ashamed that on my death bed I will always remember that this insult to my taste buds wasted 45 mins of my life that I will never get back. Thank you for slow, non-cooked, no-taste meal you somehow call a lunch. #shuttheplacedown

I have never been disappointed with a 4 star yelp review until today. This brunch barely deserves 2 stars, but ambiance and the waitress deserve some credit! My $16 omelet has barely any extra ingredients which I paid $1.50 per additional topping, it was thin and tasteless. The hash browns though I asked for well done, to me that means crispy and golden brown. These were embarrassing to look at tiny pieces of burn skin and bottom of the bag potatoes. It was the worst presentation of a very pricey omelet. The kids pancakes were fine, nicely split in half but the tempura banana was soggy not crispy. Brunch is hard to mess up this bad. Highly disappointed.

Allie was amazing! We arrived with 2 kids and a 25 minute wait, not knowing we needed a reservation. We had tickets to a show, and Allie (a manager and host) totally went above and beyond to accommodate us. She sat us as quickly as possible, took our order to expedite it to the kitchen, brought us fries for our hungry little ones, and checked in multiple times to ensure we'd be able to eat and make it to the show. Thanks so much! You made our day great!

Food below average. Chicken salad poor. Service excellent.

Phenomenal service! Reached out to Paul for a sandwich tray for an upcoming meeting down the street and he more than accommodated us along with everything we needed for a successful lunch. Everyone was very impressed!
