There isn’t a single thing about this restaurant that I don’t love! The service is top notch and so personal. They have truly recaptured the art of being personable. The food is to die for! If I don’t eat in I order take out from here at least once a week. The veg kabob platter and the bread dish with their chutney is my absolute favorite. Being a vegetarian it’s usually hard to find good non fried food. But this place does not disappoint. And I also love the floor seating. It’s fun and super cultural. Huge fan!

I ordered the Sansom Kabob:
The lamb tasted like I was eating an actual lamb without searing... just imagine the smell and the tase of that thing. I onyly got 2 pieces of it and literally gave both to my dog. The chicken was even worse, it smelled and tasted like a wash rag that had been sitting in water smelling like mildew... The beef kabob was okay, a little dry. Ive had better for cheaper at places like "the Persian grill".
The only reason this got 2/5 stars and not 1/5 is the bread... the bread is a pretty decent.

Service and atmosphere is excellent but food is disappointing. I ate kabuli pulao, no match for its name.
Not your typical Kabob house! Service was wonderful, romantic setting, beautifully decorated and the elevated family seating area just makes you want to return with a big group of family and friends.
Food was delicious. The baklava was a bit flat, wet, and didn't really taste all that great for me. Soup was good though.

We had an early dinner reservation because we had tickets to a play afterward. It wasn't very crowded, but I was still a bit worried about the time when we first arrived, since there weren't many servers. However, they were both friendly and very efficient, and we were able to finish in time. The food was all amazing; I especially enjoyed the kadu and the dhal.
