Pretty authentic dishes but i wasn’t blown away like some other places i’ve been to. I’ve been told afghani food is supposed to be more comforting than flavor bombs, maybe that’s why.

We had gone there on a weeknight last week- the service was incredibly slow. We waited close to an hour to get our meal, and given the high price of entrées- the meals were a disappointment. The place seemed totally dead and the slow service was very frustrating and disappointment- we had high hopes for this place. Either lower the price OR improve the quality of food + service if you're going to charge close to $30 for each individual entrée.

First time having Afghani food and it did not disappoint! Had samosas, salad, traditional bread with sauce, and chicken kebabs. Highly suggest.

The food was great, staff were very friendly and even gave us a free appetizer. Vegan-friendly. Expect entrees to be $20-30 on average.

Love their Qabilee palaw. The meat is so tender and the rice is very flavorful with just the right amount of raisins and carrots, not too overpowering. Order it with the yogurt dip, amazing! 👌

Tucked away in the heart of Philadelphia, this charming restaurant offers an authentic taste of Afghan cuisine. We ordered the Qabuli Palaw with Kofta and Chapli Kebab. The rice was fragrant and flavorful, while the lamb leg beneath the Qabuli Palaw was incredibly tender and succulent. The staff was warm and welcoming, adding to the inviting ambiance. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and relaxation, enhanced by heritage paintings, artifacts, and elegant decor. A must-visit for anyone looking to experience genuine Afghan flavors in a refined yet cozy setting.

Food is ok, friendly people but way overpriced for what you get. Hummus was tiny small, and main dish are 2 kabobs with rice for $30?? (See pic) So expensive, not a good dollar value at all. Sort of a tourist trap. Meh.
