I’m not normally one to leave reviews, but this experience was especially frustrating. I placed a Grubhub order for a small white pizza from Santucci’s — a specific request that means a lot to my family. My son has special needs and a restrictive eating disorder, and this white pizza from Santucci’s is one of the only foods he’ll actually eat. I timed the delivery to make sure it would arrive by dinner, and when I opened the box and saw a regular red sauce pizza instead, I was heartbroken. Mistakes happen — I get that. What made this worse was how it was handled when I called the restaurant. A young woman who answered the phone was kind and apologetic, and I appreciated that. But after holding for over six minutes, I was passed to someone who immediately accused me of placing the order wrong. I had already double-checked my Grubhub receipt before calling — the order was placed correctly. I even had a screenshot as proof. When I was passed to the manager, I expected a little more compassion and accountability. Instead, I was met with indifference and more blame. I offered to send a screenshot to show the order was right on my end, but the manager refused to look at it and stood by their claim that I was the one at fault. Ironically, the first woman I spoke with had mentioned it looked like a system issue on their end — which made the gaslighting from management all the more frustrating. To be clear, this wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. When your child has very limited safe foods, and you make an intentional effort to get the one thing they will eat — only to have it messed up and then be blamed for it — that’s a big deal. The mistake was frustrating. The lack of accountability and empathy? Even worse. I’m incredibly disappointed with how this was handled and hope Santucci’s reflects on how to better support customers, especially when mistakes are made

the WORST pizza that I ever had! Brigantine location, what a waste of $30 ! it's a pre made pizza shell with a gallon of tasteless sauce four pieces of mozzarella and a few shredded pieces of basil ! IT WAS HORRIBLE, NEVER AGAIN! I make better pizza ! that's why these places are franchises, they deal in quantity not quality!

My partner & I tried this place after an exhausting day of traveling from Florida. We have never been to Philly, so Santucci's was quite literally our first impression of the food here. What a TERRIBLE first impression! We ordered a Large "The Works" pizza & let me just say, we should've read the Google reviews first. The negative reviews are 1000% on point. The sauce was so soupy it was basically red water on the extremely soggy crust, cheese was practically non-existent & all of our toppings were crunchy & raw! The mushrooms definitely come straight from a can & I have no doubt the bland, unseasoned, plain tomato sauce that they call pizza sauce does as well. I hadn't eaten all day & was starving. I had 1 slice & just went to bed hungry. Ironically, the pizza was slightly better & less soupy 2 days later when it was reheated in the oven. No way in hell was this pizza worth $30, or even $10. Straight up robbery for an insulting excuse of a pizza. Save your money & go straight to the freezer aisle- your wallet & tummy will thank you!

Santucci’s really is the best pizza in Philly in my opinion. Everything is great, but the sauce is particularly well seasoned and savory

This was my first time coming here and this wont be my last! My husband and I were stuck between the buffalo and barbecue chicken pies but our server Makenzie helped us choose the half and half pizza. It was GREAT!! She was great help and gave us phenomenal service. We will definitely be back soon to see her!
