Great Thai food, awesome service, and a cool vibe! I highly recommend! Not too pricy either.

Super nice staff, friendly and attentive. Decided I needed a spicy hot soup of something before hitting the theater tonight, so I remembered this place not far from the office and en route to the Academy of Music. Tom kha soup hit the spot. Next up was the appetizer salad of yum woon sen, glass noodles that came with shrimp and chicken and just the right hit of pepper and spice with a splash of lime and citrusy flavors. Lovely and easy.

I ordered the Pad Thai Curry and it was probably the best Thai dish I have ever eaten. Highly recommend it!

Excellent food. Fine quickly to order. Staff is friendly and willing to answer any questions. Especially request like food allergies are handled without question. Spicy level is managed well. I'm not had a bad meal here. I just wish they sold the soup and gallon drugs because it's so good.

Good find when were in the neighborhood looking for some Thai food. Quick and friendly service. The spring rolls were ok, but I got the pad woon sen curry glass noodles with veggies and chicken and they were really good. Cute neighborhood too. Will definitely be back!

I have eaten Asian food in many restaurants in North America, Europe, Asia. What is probably the best of them all is the small unpretentious bistro located at 534 S.15th Street, in Center City, Philadelphia, Sawatdee. We have eaten at the location for at least 10 years, and regularly eat Sawatdee's home delivery. I don't claim that the restaurant possesses the elegance of some Asian restaurants in London, San Francisco,Toronto. What it has is the food. I can't eat decor. One characteristic of a good restaurant is consistency, and this restaurant has it. The roast duck I ate at Sawatdee 10 years ago is exactly as good as the home delivered duck I ate tonight. My husband will not order duck anywhere else. It is moist and tender and the skin is darkly roasted and crisp. Another requirement for a good restaurant is meticulous attention to detail. Take the dish I had tonight, massaman curry, with Coconut milk, potatoes, carrots, onions, and shrimp. I particularly noticed the potatoes. They were cut into one inch identical cubes, and were cooked to a slight al dente consistency. Hard to do. The chicken wings, moist, tender, sweet, put to shame all other wings. The vegetable stuffed spring rolls were robust and well-flavored. We ordered medium hotness in all of dishes, and each dish had exactly the same amount of fire. How do they do this?Curry and spring rolls in most Asian restaurant are meh. But every dish we ate tonight was better than its equivalent anywhere I have eaten. And we feel respected as customers. We have limited mobility and eat a lot of home delivered food. What Sawatdee brought us tonight was just as delectable as their in house fare, and it arrived piping hot and ready for the table. But Sawatdee, as I said, is a small corner restaurant, with no pretensions. A saying is, "The philospher is without honor in his own town." Sawatdee 's honors will come from the gratitude of its well-fed customers. They have enjoyed the best Asian food in the Delaware Valley.

The food here was phenomenal. I had the drunken noodles with chicken and got some pork wontons. It was my first time getting food from here but it was delicious. The service was great, very professional and timely. I will be visiting this spot again soon.

have walked past this place many times and decided to give some carry out a try. very disappointed. the serving was very small. maybe 1/3 of the container, and the sauce was very watery. even the rice container was not filled completely. so, if you are hungry, try somewhere else. for the price I think it is not worth it. will not go back

My first time trying and I’m definitely going back. Reasonable priced with a great selection. I got the Pad-Nor-Mai with chicken, the second dish was Gaeng-Phed-Ped-Yang both entrees were delicious and seasoned well.
