Been there a few times now after discovering it a couple weeks ago and had a different bartender each time. Without fail, each bartender has been exceptionally welcoming and kind! Haven't gotten food but it does look good. Week nights seem to be quiet for a beer and very little wait on the pool tables. Went on a Friday and the place was buzzing, love to see it! Pool tables being $1.50/game is great compared to so many other places.
Can't recommend this place enough. This is my friends and I's new favorite spot.

Great bartenders who make the place feel like home, two pool tables which draw friendly players of all skill levels, delicious food and rotating specials, and the most lovely regulars who will make you feel like family. Scanlons is why I love living in this neighborhood.
Great neighborhood spot and friendly, professional bartenders. Saw a Christmas party concert with Rock Bottom and they were tremendous. Can’t wait to go again to see them next year for Christmas.

Definitely, a local treasure! Great atmosphere, juke bix, pool tables, and a really good selection of beer. I've only eaten here once, and it was so long ago I don't even remember what I had. I'll order some food next time I go and then update the ratings...lol!
Parking: Like I mentioned, this is a local spot, and most folks just walk since they live nearby. I usually get lucky and find parking close by, but I try not to take parking from the residents, so parking a couple of blocks away won't hurt me!

Me and fiance live right up the street from here and enjoy popping in for drinks from time to time. It's a great lively bar on the weekends and subdued enough to a place to grab a quiet drink and enjoy conversation during the week. Service is always friendly and their beer selection is good enough. Menu is good for snacking and light bites. Solid execution on the food side.
