The corned beef is good. The sandwiches are large. I think it should include fries. The service is strange. They don’t check on you and brought cold coffee etc…I did not like the coleslaw at all, it almost had fishy flavor. They have no pickle bar. Desserts are definitely not store made as described. They have no German Chocolate Cake. It’s become a homogenized vanilla deli and I don’t recommend it over another. Don’t expect it to be like Harold’s in Edison NJ. I’m sorry to leave a negative impression but it was pretty much a very average experience.

Chicken noodle soup is such a waste of money, “noodles” they say but then they end up putting penne pasta in there

I was a bit disappointed in the pastrami sandwich and black-and-white. They were fine, but my very first pastrami sandwich was at Pastrami Queen in New York, and most places just don't measure up. The meat slices were super thin and really fatty. Like, there was as much fat as meat - not good cuts. Ymmv. And the meat just didn't have much kick. Not bad at all but disappointing.

I will say that they have plenty of seating, a nice dining area, and friendly staff.

After a delivery driver failed to pick up a delivery order, the owner promised to make it right and brought the food to me themselves! I appreciate how much they wanted to make things right. The food was for a sick relative who appreciated it very much and said the soup was perfect.

This place is strictly for people who know nothing about deli...or decent food for that matter.

Started off with a very good cup of coffee which arrived with no creamers. Had to ask for them.

My wife ordered a pastrami special. Ugh. The meat was both dry and tough. It came with fries that were nicely hot but soggy and again, dry.

My turkey reuben was okay with plenty of real breast meat, but surprise! Dry as a bone.

I ordered a potato knish to see how they did that. It was okay, but small and bland.

But the worst part of an already bad meal was the potato pancake (or latke as we say). It was truly atrocious. Pale, flaccid and bland without a trace of crispness. Easily the worst I've ever had.

The service was workmanlike. We had to ask for silverware and napkins and no one ever asked us how things were. My guess is they're tired of hearing complaints.

If the rest of their fare is as bad as this, I'd avoid this place if I were you.
