I wasn’t expecting to like this bagel so much! We got the lox bagel and it was very good. The perfect amount of cream cheese and I like that the lox was mixed in.

I truly feel bad writing this review. They seem like really sweet people. But absolutely the worst bagels I have ever had in my life, and not very good coffee. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese. They gave me a mini bagel with a pound of cream cheese on it, and on top of that, the bagel was hard as a rock. Might have been a mixture of old/overtoasted, or it’s the recipe, I don’t know. It was very bad. It was really a waste of money. I couldn’t even bite into it before I just threw it away. The coffee was burnt or just not good coffee. Had to go to dunking down the street. I’m writing this as constructive criticism so that maybe they can notice. I’m sorry. Service was great!

I got the everything bagel with scallions, walnuts, and cream cheese. It was great. My wife got the blueberry bagel with sriracha/mango/mayo cream cheese and that combination was great (although my wife would have preferred this with an everything bagel or chocolate chip bagel). We liked this place better than Spread bagelry.

The staff and food is always incredible. As someone who is gluten free, its hard to find a good bagel and Schmear it has mastered the craft of a superb bagel! 10/10 would recommend.
Not worth the money. Paid $7 for a whitefish on a bagel and got robbed. Barely got any whitefish. All bread.
