Very good ice cream with innovative signature blends but store does not feel clean. Tables were sticky, shiny surfaces had splatter, and floor was grimy.
Also disappointed when a store owner gets defensive in responses to reviews. Quit making excuses, take accountability, and improve. Could absolutely be a 5 star establishment if things are addressed.
Edit: I actually wrote all of the above before the owner even responded, based on their responses to other reviews. Then I saw their response to this review. Yikes! Took it down another star based on ownerâs consistent making excuses. South St Festival is not a reason for having dirty air ducts. Is mercury in retrograde too? Love supporting local business but sadly wonât be back to this one and Iâd be surprised if it lasts much longer considering the other, better ice cream options in the area.

Went here on a hot day. Great service, the guy working the register was excellent and very friendly. Got the tropical acai bowl and was probably the worst pineapple and mango I have ever had anywhere. Would recommend this place but maybe avoid acai bowls there

The staff at this location are doing their absolute best: they're friendly, efficient, and patient with kids. I have no complaints with the service here! Unfortunately, Scoop De Ville is not really an "ice cream" shop. This isn't ice cream as most people are familiar with it. It's neither traditional scooped ice cream, nor is it true soft serve or custard. It's... foam.
Try a (dairy) milkshake and you'll see: there's no creaminess, no density. Virtually no weight. It will shock you how light the cup is when they hand it over: it's like being handed a tall cup of froth or latte foam. What this means is that you're getting very little ice cream per serving, and it's being frothed and mixed up with lots of toppings and syrups to hide that fact. The effect is all sugar and no richness. Their milkshakes don't even feel COLD, because it's mainly foamy, not creamy... foam is not refreshing on a hot day, nor is it remotely as satisfying as real ice cream is.
The foamy "whipped" texture of everything, and the fact that they offer so many mix-ins (perhaps to hide said texture?), feels fundamentally dishonest to me. You're paying ice cream sundae prices for a scoop of whipped cream with a bunch of crushed cookies and gummies stirred in; in my opinion you'd get better value for your money from a fast-food milkshake. The only thing I've found to be worth purchasing from this menu is their frozen lemonades, since those will actually quench your thirst.

The staff should definitely be made to wear hair nets and gloves at all time when dealing with or around any of the treat items in the store!! I watched one of the workers put all the cones away with her bare hands no gloves at all. She had to carry the tray that holds the cones, then touched the cones. Thatâs cross contamination.
I order two ice creams for myself and my nephew and a pink lemonade slide of cake. While eating his ice cream my nephew notice hair in his ice cream! He pulled one hair up on the spoon. Upon checking his ice cream there were two more of the same similar hair texture in his ice cream! The disgust! There was also hair in the outside of the container that holds the pink lemonade cake as well!! Turned my stomach completely!!
There was complications from a third party delivery driver and Amir went above and beyond to ensure I received the right order and in a timely fashion. He was very apologetic even though it was not his fault and equally as professional. Always a 5 star experience with Amir and his squad!

Maurice was patient with me as I had no clue what I wanted to try on the menu and he gave me many suggestions on what to go for. The starts donât match how genuine and passionate his energy is!
