Ice cream here is good, but definitely overpriced. And sometimes they’re closed during times that they advertise being open
As the weather began to warm up last summer, I started my Sunday evening tradition of going out to get a couple of scoops of ice cream or water ice. I wanted to try something different and go someplace I had never tried before. So, good old Google found me a place, less than a mile away, which I never knew existed! I jumped in the car, drove down, and, long story short, I was blown away! I will ALWAYS choose a small local business over a corporate owned or franchised operation any day, and this wonderful couple (Dana and Tony) not only serves delicious ice cream, incredible waffles, PLUS extremely delicious homemade waffle cones and bowls, but they also serve up love and hospitality! This is MY go-to place now, and I happily begin my second summer season patronizing ScoopAffles, MY neighbors, and a part of MY extended family of sole proprietors! I am so glad I wanted something different that night! I sure got more than I asked for! We even had their new Mobile Unit (ScoopAffles Plus) at our church this year for Easter Sunday! If you are a customer already, you KNOW what I am talking about! If not, please give ScoopAffles a try! I promise you will not be disappointed and... will absolutely get hooked! 😁
Awesome icecream stop. 🍦🧁🍧
Not only is the the icecream delish
Tony and Dana are wonderful folks.
Thanks for the talk Tony.
See you soon
This is some of the best Ice cream I've had, it's home away from home. Everyone is pleasant when you go there. Even the customers are nice. We are one ❤️ big family
Scoopaffles is hands down one of the best ice cream parlors ever! The ice cream is rich, creamy, and packed with flavor, and the handmade waffle cones are out of this world. The shop itself is so colorful and fun! just walking in lifts your mood instantly. The owners are so dope, super friendly, welcoming, and you can tell they’ve put their heart into creating such a unique and fun vibe. The portions are very generous for the price, which feels so fair for the quality you get. I feel like a big kid every time I go, and my children are love it too, they always want to hang out at the shop and eat their ice cream. The owner even brought out water for my dog the last time he came along! Scoopaffles is truly a whole vibe!
$9 and change for a single ice cream cone. Thats insanely overpriced.
Came across this hidden gem with my best friend. I love how intimate, clean and very nice it is. The ice cream was really good and they also have water ice. They do allow you to sample if you need to get the right flavor option. If you are looking for a new ice cream spot this is it. They also do have a truck which they rent out for parties/events just ask when you go.
Friendly staff. Great selection and creative selection.
Have driven past this location several times a week for months and on this particular day said we have to go in and check it out for one of our date night spots. Once we were there parking was great despite it's on street parking. Closing out the sale from the customers ahead of us our server was actually one of the owners, she was totally pleasant and helpful since I wanted something different from which I would normally get, my husband went straight to the banana split with strawberry ice cream, strawberries, pineapples, sprinkles and whipped cream. After sampling mint chocolate chip I easily decided on strawberry cheesecake with moose tracks in a waffle bowl with hot fudge, fresh strawberries, fudge with peanut butter chips with whipped cream and cherries on top. That was thee BEST ice cream I have ever had as an adult. My husband smiled and said date nights this summer will be ending by stopping by for dessert. By the way they have all of the best flavors of water ice too. While I was placing our order the other owner, whom happens to be her husband and after speaking jumped right in asking if we needed help since we were already taken care of he started talking to my husband, not quite sure what about but clearly it was a future feeling because they both said ok thanks again and see you real soon. Great customer service, excellent product quality at respectable price. Thanks to Scoop of Flavors more date nights ahead. Definitely will be regular customers ahead and I have already started referring others. Congratulations on your first 5 years and we are looking forward to celebrating another 5 years as customers.
Staff were friendly. Premises were clean and welcoming. To top it off, the ice cream and water ice is DELICIOUS! Try the pretzels too. Def worth it

Not only was the water ice fantastic, but the service was wonderful. My huge family stopped in just minutes before closing (which I feel awful about) but we were treated the same as if we had shown up hours before closing.
I am definitely going to go back!
This is a nice black own business, service was great and the ice was so good. This will definitely be our go to for icecream this spring and summer
ScoopAffles Ice Cream Parlor in Philadelphia is a hidden gem that’s definitely worth a visit! The moment you walk in, you’re greeted with the delicious aroma of fresh waffles, which sets this place apart from other ice cream shops. Their signature offering is a warm, crispy waffle paired with a scoop (or two!) of their creamy, rich ice cream, creating a perfect balance of textures and flavors.
The ice cream selection is fantastic, with a variety of classic and unique flavors to choose from. Whether you’re in the mood for traditional vanilla, or want to try something adventurous like salted caramel pretzel or blueberry cheesecake, they’ve got something for everyone. And the toppings? Endless! From fresh fruits to crunchy candies, you can truly customize your treat.
The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming, making it a great spot for families, friends, or even a solo treat. Pricing is fair, and the portions are generous, so you definitely get your money’s worth. Every visit feels like a special indulgence, and I’m always excited to come back and try something new. If you’re in Philly and craving something sweet, ScoopAffles is a must-try!
