Standard Chinese restaurant, wasn’t mind blowing.

- Crispy fried chicken Taiwanese style ($8): 9/10, great texture and flavor
- Pork wonton w/ chili sauce ($7.95): 6/10, just okay
- Shanghai pan fried pork soup dumplings ($8.95): Don’t remember but prob good

Very yummy. No hot tea, which was a shame. The portions were very large and I was worried that my beef and broccoli wouldn't have enough beef, but it had a ton. I ate until bursting and my plate still looked like I didn't eat at all. Each plate is probably enough for three people. I got a scallion pancake and it was a little doughy but still very tasty. I went with two other people and with tip we paid around $60, without tip $50. The beef and broccoli were nice and tender. My family each got chow mein and they really liked the noodles.

Great choice. They provided hot tea when you put down. Had the hand drawn noodles with beef. The noodles were wonderful and the beef was tender and wonderful flavor. Neat twist they give you scissors to cut the noodles. The spring roll was a nice light fry with creamy filling. Absolutely return, this place is authentic and perfect exactly what we hoped to find.

Heng Feng restaurant has a very small, cozy space, but we were seated quickly which I appreciated. The food itself was absolutely delicious definitely the highlight of the visit. However, the service could have been a bit more attentive. Our server didn’t really check on us, and when I asked a question about my dumplings (which looked a little different than others I noticed), I didn’t receive a response.

On the plus side, the bathrooms were very clean and the total for everything came out to about $40, which felt reasonable for what we ordered. One thing to note because the space is small, noise carries a lot. There was a baby crying for most of our meal, so I probably wouldn’t recommend this spot for guests with infants.

Overall, great food and fast seating, but the service and environment could be improved a bit.

I recommend eating here while visiting Chinatown. I got #72 ox stomach noodle soup. It was amazing. I love the vibes of this place. I recommend trying the cooling mango drink. Our waitress was very nice and service was great. Definitely would come back here again.

My family and I were walking around. We stumbled upon this place. The food was amazing. My sister got the #52 spicy beef noodle soup, #72 I got the ox stomach noodle soup, and #92 my dad got the duck with rice. We tried the cooling mango drink which was amazing as well. Recommend coming here to eat!!! Service was awesome too!!!

Not having dim sum in the restaurant’s name definitely hurts this place with non-chinese potential customers, but maybe its better that way as this rather unassuming diner could not possibly handle the kind of rush / crowd the other locations get during convention weekends.

But I think if you have a late night crazing for dim sum, specifically chicken feet and soup dumplings, this is one of the bests in china town

I was genuinely blown away at how good the chicken feet was at 8pm on a thursday, and their soup dumplings were one of the best in philly china town. Its soup was savory, sweet, and not too oily, and the dumpling peels were a bit thicker, clearly hand made, with a nice qq texture.

Their freshly made potstickers and cucumber salad were also incredible. I would argue they were must order dishes.

We came here after seeing a line at Tom’s Dim Sum and having eaten at Tom’s before, I can confidently say this was a better experience.

While it doesn’t have as pretty of an interior, the food clearly shows the experience of an expert chef.

Every single plate was delicious. Prices were very reasonable and the staff provided great service. We will definitely be coming back to Philly just to come back to this place. Very diverse menu and great options for vegetarians.
