I recently dined at Sherry's Restaurant with a former student of mine because it was his local favorite. I could see why it's a regular spot for him. Sherry's Restaurant isn't your high fine dining experience but it's very casual, comfortable, and a local spot for the North Philly neighbors. It's a place that I could see myself being a regular on a Saturday morning for a nice cuppa coffee or stack of pancakes. Plus the prices are very affordable even for a mom & pop's diner restaurant, usually in the $ range. The waitress Nanny served my student and I with great customer service and was very friendly and accommodating. The food itself wasn't particularly mind blowing but it was definitely worth the price of the food. I wouldn't mind stopping by Sherry's if I find myself in the North Philly area!

Only giving 2 stars due to portion sizing their meals. I ordered 2 omelets with home fries and bacon. 1 order was portioned as if it was for a 2 year old and the bacon taste like it was cooked in old chicken grease. Don’t get me wrong, the food is okay but the portion sizes were horrible and chicken grease bacon wasn’t it for me.

There is a waitress there by the name of Jolie. She. Makes you feel very comfortable. Tony is a fantastic cook and the atmosphere is friendly and down to earth. I've gotten to be a regular. It's starts my morning off right eating at this diner.
