I ordered via doodash their General Tso’s I guessed I got influenced by a “IG foodie influencer” said they have the very best General Tso’s that is much better than Chinatown.
I should have not given in. The General Tso’s here I find it so bland and the chicken is too tough. It’s not even crunchy even a lil bit. I don’t know if it’s an off day because today is Monday. Maybe a different cook that cooked it today!
Good thing I doubled dash and ordered my fave fool proof Fried Chicken at Love and Honey Fried Chicken so I will be eating that instead of this General Tso’s. I am so bummed!!!

I ordered takeout and they forgot to send my Wonton Soup but I'm still giving 5 stars because this is the best Beef Ho Fun I've ever had in my entire life. The General Tso' chicken was also incredible. Not to sweet, not too much breading and the perfect balance of sticky and crispy.

Non descriptive Chinese noodle house. Food came out fast. Broth could be better.

Shing Kee on Washington Ave is a hidden gem for authentic Cantonese cuisine! Their Hong Kong wonton soup is absolutely delicious—light yet flavorful broth with perfectly seasoned, plump wontons that taste homemade. The Hong Kong shrimp is another standout—crispy, fresh, and packed with that classic, savory Cantonese flavor. Every bite was satisfying, and the quality of the ingredients really shines. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Hong Kong-style dishes! A new go to!!!!

This restaurant is one of always to go to places when my family has certain event of dining together. I once in a while take out food from them, too. The dishes come in big portion and most importantly delicious. Although it is not a fancily beautiful restaurant, I love the food here.

Simply put, this is some of the best Chinese food I've ever eaten.
Since we moved to the area, we've been looking for a good spot to order Chinese takeout. So, our order was more American Chinese selections than authentic.
From the quality of ingredients, to the efficiency of the staff, and no fuss/clean surroundings, we just found out favorite South Philly spot for Chinese (eat-in or takeout).
