I usually don't write reviews but I ordered from Shrimp King last night via DoorDash for my second time. To make a long story (and night) short, my order was essentially stolen by my dasher. I simply called the restaurant to confirm that my order was picked up by my dasher and when the man I spoke with (who I assume may have been the owner/manager) found out that I never received it, he made sure it was immediately rectified by DoorDash, stayed open nearly an hour later than closing for a new order to be prepared and sent out for me, and even included a few side dishes and well as extra cocktail sauce to accommodate me and make up for my horrible experience with my dasher (that had nothing to do with the restaurant).I must say, the fried shrimp is one of the things that keeps me ordering from them but last night's customer service was top tier and is the reason I will remain a loyal and happy customer with them. It's very rare that you receive good customer service anymore and it honestly turned my entire night around.If you're hesitant about ordering from here, don't be! The food is always a 10/10 and so is the customer service. Thank you guys again for always providing great food and great customer service! :)

Ordered the Silver trout fish platter and two sides. Why did it just come with 1 piece of fish? You can at least advertise how many pieces of fish come with a platter like the chicken wings or else I would have ordered something else!??The sides were a "No" for me! Potato salad was hot, the Mac and cheese (was it really cheese?) Just use Stouffer's, ok. The green beans were good.The man taking the order was nice and friendly.The only thing this place has going for itself is the fried shrimp and maybe the tacos (they put a lot of lettuce on the tacos ??♀️)The fried fish was good but you only get 1 piece and I think they use to sell 2 pieces.

Food was great been hearing about this place but couldn't find it so today I took my time and found it and wasn't disappointed. Got the 3 shrimp tacos for lunch which was filling and delicious. Dinner I got the shrimp pasta can't wait to sink my teeth in it.. A must check

First time customer and I wasn’t disappointed. The fried shrimp, cornbread, and slaw were excellent! Placed the order by phone and the food was ready within minutes of arriving. There was plenty of parking and the man behind the counter was friendly and welcoming.Absolutely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back and try the tacos and pasta.

Again me and my wife love trying new places and rating them ! We moved up from Texas and haven't found any hospitality in Philly! but the owner here is super nice and professional! I'll buy again just from that alone ! Secondly the baja tacos were pretty tasty I'll give it 4/5Next we ordered the fish fillets.The fish was cooked perfectly just missing a little more pop of flavor 3.5/5The lemon pound cake ..shucks! I thought my mama made this ! 5/5If you're looking for great customer service, quick pick up time, and some pretty tasty food this is one of them in West Philly. Can't wait to try other menu items! Overall I'll say 4.35/5 !

I ordered off Uber eats three times food ok. My third order I ordered flounder sandwich and they gave me tilapia and I don’t eat tilapia plus that’s not what I ordered and Uber eats is giving a hard time to refund me for the wrong sandwich. I’m upset about this issue especially when I spend a lot of money money on that app. My orders with this restaurant all three times has been over $60. Plus the lettuces on my sandwich was old too!
