I really liked this place because their biscuits and cakes were 100% made with Dominican recipes and were delicious, but for a year their quality fell through the cracks. The cakes that are supposed to be made of corn do not even have the flavor or texture that the Dominican recipe exalts; They are not even cakes anymore, they have a gelatinous texture. The biscuits are not Dominican at all either. It would be fine with me if they even had good flavor and texture, but not even that.I don't know what happened to this business, but everything changed and for the worse.

My experience was awful, there was very little to poor communication from the clerk that attended me. I explained what I wanted and I honestly don't know what she understood but I got something completely different. I'm giving it a one because the clerk could have come out of her shell and try and understand customers needs.

A hidden gem in Philadelphia. Walked by and almost missed it, decided to give it a try. The warm Empanadas were excellent (especially on a cold day). Friendly, inviting staff makes you feel at home and taken care of. Will definitely be back - highly recommend 10/10.

They did the cake for my wedding. It was beautifully decorated and on time, but the cake was supper dry. Dominican cake is supposed to be moist and spongy. I felt embarrassed serving this to my guests. You would've thought I went cheap for my own wedding when in reality, the cake was really expensive. Again. The cake was beautifully decorated which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. They should get an actual Dominican baker that knows what she's doing. It's a shame because they used to be the best bakery for Dominican pastries in Philadelphia.

They were very helpful the day of my cousin’s wedding. Unfortunately our car wasn’t big enough for the cake. They stayed with us even after closing time for our other family member to arrive and pick up the cake. They were very professional, patient, and kind. Amazing customer service and the cake was delicious. I’ll definitely be back.
