Absolutely delicious. Nice atmosphere too. I got the beef liver with onions and gravy and eggs and home fries. The person I ate with had pancakes (amazing), turkey bacon (amazing) and eggs. There were about 8 other things on the menu that I really want to try. I’ll definitely be back!

My first time there will most likely be my last time there. Ordered a breakfast platter with an order of salmon cakes. The platter was ok but the salmon cakes were too salty so I sent them back. The older lady (guessing she was the owner) looked me dead in the face and said she would only give me back half my money for them because everybody else likes them so it doesn’t matter that I don’t. As if I’m paying for them because what someone else likes. And seeing all the comments about how they fell off, they’re unprofessional, etc, I’m not even surprised now that that was my experience.
This place is unprofessional and they have a rule where you can only order 2 platters over the phone and if you want more food you have to come order the additional food at the restaurant. Like that's any rule to have. I get people ordering food not picking it up so you make up d*** rules without completely thinking it through. Never inconvenience the customer. What they could have done was continued to take orders over the phone and made the customers pay for their orders over the phone. Get yall bread, work smarter not harder.

We ordered 2 breakfast platters. The portions were skimpy and the beef bacon was 3 little strips about for inches long! This place need to be ashamed of themselves! Total waste of my time and money! The old Southern Inn WOULD NEVER! Don’t waste your time or money on this place!
