First Indo restaurant I tried in Philly. Idk I just feel like it is not as good as the ones in NYC lol, but I'd come back if I want Indo food. For the rice, the beef rendang is well seasoned and not spicy. I like the combination with the deep fried potato sticks (I think), which adds a nice texture. The noodles is not that well-seasoned imo. The pork slices are too sweet, and the soup is too bland.

Super pleasant service. Wasn't sure what to order as there are a ton of things we were interested but I did know I was buying for later in the day, i.e. re-heating. The hostess/owner?/waitress? was great at guiding us towards a dish that would work well re-heated as such (we knew a lot of the pan-fried noodle dishes wouldn't do so well).
Ultimately the dishes we got were great. We went with a curry noodle dish and a rice dish with rendang, both of which were great.
Would absolutely come back to dine in/get immediately eaten to go dishes. The parking seems overwhelming but doesn't have to be.

The best Indonesian food outside of Indonesia?

Definitely not the flashiest Indonesian spot in Philly, but the OG charm of the old school Asian market location matches the taste of the food, earthy & authentic with the correct selection of authentic dishes versus slightly off piste picks like 👅 satay, rare durian smoothies that earn YTs a stern warning, & variations on classics worth digging into.

Really tasty, will come back
This is the place to go for authentic Indonesian cuisine. I ordered the Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng and the Nasi Bungkus with Ayam Goreng, and both were incredibly tasty. The sambal was also excellent. Another great thing about this place is it is located at the shopping complex with ample of parking spaces.

Delicious food at a great price. Get the bbq pork noodles, comes with soup & delicious fried wontons. Lamb satay was delish. Hot tea & fruit juices were amazing. Between the price point & the cozy mom and pops type environment, if I lived locally we would be here all the time. Thank you!
Staff was amazingly friendly, really cute spot with spectacular food!!
