We’ve been coming to Smiley’s (now Bluzone) for several years since moving to Philadelphia, and the food and service have always been great. Unfortunately, since the transition to Bluzone, the quality has noticeably declined. We used to love the strawberry lemonades, but what we got this time was mostly unblended ice with just a bit of lemonade filling the gaps—gone after about five sips. Sadly, it’s not worth the money, and I can no longer recommend what used to be our favorite spot on Main Street.

Worst gyro platter I ever had, sauces had no flavor, no spicy sauce provided, bread was flat (not fluffy) stale (might even have been store purchased). Food was not warm. Food did not look like advertised on picture in the window. Small portion for $22. I get at least twice the amount of food from the gyro street cart up the street of Shurs Lane, for less than $15, and that one is delicious.

Amazing atmosphere. It was my first time trying a Gyro and it was DELICIOUS. My smoothie was so good and refreshing.
That garlic sauce is something else ❤️❤️
The pita is so fresh and the Tzatziki is AMAZING.
I also fall in love with Hummus. It was also my first time trying it. All those years wasted in my life. Without hummus, I can say that I will definitely be coming back for all!❤️

The customer service is so warm and very good.

Things are not the same here since new management took over. The chicken gyro was sloppily thrown together, not nicely folded like it used to be. Hardly any tzatziki. The salad dressing was really bad. They’ve replaced the tangy one with some type of bad Italian dressing. I ordered extra pita and it wasn’t included. Unfortunately, we won’t be ordering from here again.

Felt like my small gyro was a day old and warmed up for me. Bread was stale. Plastic sheeting stuck to the wrap. Barely any tzatziki sauce. Smoothie blended for maybe 10 seconds then guy in flyers hat gives it to me. Wasn't even fully blended ice and fruit blocked the straw. Prices on menu not accurate anymore either. Street gyros always the way to go. This is a sloppy deli at best.

If you would like to have tasty and beautiful food; prepared with love and dedication. Come eat at blue zone Cafe!

Food was prepared as if by a Native Mediterranean. Chef Paris is a natv8 Philadelphian who has learned the secrets of the Heart Healthy Mediterranean Cuisine. Definitely a Establishment to Venture Into.

Blue zone is a nice new spot a friend of mine put me on to. Not only is it a nice place but the Chef (Paris Lewis) was great! The food was amazing and the service was a 10. Definitely my new favorite spot.

I visited this restaurant for the first time around 7:40 PM after placing a pickup order online. When I walked in, I said, ‘Hey, I’m here to pick my order up.’

The guy who greeted me responded by shouting ‘HELLO!’ while waving his hand. He did it again, and I looked behind me, thinking he was talking to someone else, but there was no one there. When I looked back at him, he repeated the same thing. Finally, I said, ‘Hey,’ and that’s when he told me I should have greeted him differently.

It felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. I decided to leave the food there and walk out because of how uncomfortable the encounter was. I hope management addresses this kind of behavior.

Edit: I found out that the restaurant recently changed from 'Smiley Cafe' to 'Blu Zone' under new management. The new management seems to have brought a rude and disrespectful attitude, so if you're coming here expecting the same great service from the old 4.7-star establishment, adjust your expectations. It's not the same place anymore.
