Solange Caribbean Cuisine

All I can say is WOW. From the moment I walked into Solange's establishment, I knew I was in for a treat and treat is an understatement. Everything was tidy & clean which is something I really look for. Solange is so warm and both her and her staff have amazing customer service. I ordered a medium oxtail plate with rice & peas & plantains and it was the best plate of oxtail l've ever had... homemade or restaurant. The oxtail was falling off the bone and Solange gave me a little gravy pool to mix in with my rice(I didn’t even have to ask for extra gravy 🥹) The portions were healthy and I was able to share. The plantains were sweet and freshly fried. Everything else looked SOOO GOOD especially the roti. I literally cannot say enough good things and I'm not exaggerating. I tried both the homemade pineapple ginger and the passionfruit both were so delicious. The passion fruit was heavenly. Just go. Try everything for me and report back. You won't be disappointed! ✨✨✨

In Philly for Memorial weekend and have been going back to Solange’s restaurant for 3 days in a row. The food is so good. Definitely recommend.

Good was too salty. If ur a cook u should taste ur food. Used cheap Malton salt. Should b using Sea salt ,keltic salt. To me the best is Himalayan salt. OxTails were under cooked just like the curry goat. Would not recommend this place.

This was my first time ordering from them. I am extremely satisfied with the food and the great attitude from the owner. I was looking for another place to order my Jamaican food, other than the madness on broad street and on rising sun. I HAVE FOUND IT IN THIS RESTAURANT. They are near by so I can walk around the corner and ENJOY good food. Give them a chance and you will never regret it. Love this place.

Great service good food

Every time I visit the restaurant, I’m greeted with courtesy and respect. It’s clean, friendly, and I get an overall good vibe. I always order the jerk chicken or curry chicken with rice, and I usually top it off with a slice of carrot cake. I don’t usually write reviews, but I think this place deserves to be recognized.
