I recently ordered the Oxtail and Rasta Pasta from Solange Caribbean cuisine, and I can't express how incredible the experience was!

The Oxtail was tender and full of flavor, cooked to perfection with a rich, savory gravy that had just the right balance of spices. Each bite melted in my mouth, and the portion size was generous.

The Rasta Pasta was equally impressive, featuring a vibrant medley of peppers and a creamy sauce that perfectly complemented the pasta. It was bursting with fresh flavors and had a delightful kick.

Both dishes showcased authentic Jamaican cuisine at its finest. The service was friendly, and the atmosphere was inviting. I can’t wait to return for more! Highly recommend to anyone craving genuine Jamaican flavors.

Traveled all the way from the KOP area, and Solange did not disappoint. Restaurant was very clean, portions were hearty, food was great, and the owner was super friendly. We came in as customers, but left feeling like family. We will definitely be back soon!
(I had oxtails, Mac & cheese, and cabbage.)

Food is delicious, the perfect spot to get food after a long day at work. I am most grateful for the above and beyond service, reasonable portion sizes, and the love radiating off the food from all the flavor. Thank you and blessings to her and her family!

Food was MEH.....
When you first walk in nobody greets you or says hello. Walk right past you and will look you in the face. Super weird, lol !
They gave me the biggest helping of rice and peas and it wasnt even that good. Also there were not enough veggies. The cabbage was really good and the shrimp were a nice size. They were basic and edible. My friend got fried plantains and they were the most disgusting things I have ever tasted in my life !!!! Mushy, dripping in oil and tasted old. Made us sick to our stomachs. Spent almost $60. I also got their "homemade" juice that tasted like a mix of concentrated juices full of high fructose cornsyrup and ADDITIONAL sugar. It was $5 and I couldn't even finish it. Absolutely a waste of time and money. I shall NEVER return again.

I was looking for the best Jamaican food in the city of Philadelphia I encountered solange Caribbean cuisine while searching on google. From the moment I walked in you could tell that this was a very clean establishment. I was greeted with the owner herself solange, her customer service is impeccable and she was very patient in explaining to me all the different items on the menu. I went with the oxtails, rice and peas, plantains and a side of Rasta pasta ,also got one of their fresh juices that they make in house the passionfruit. The food was so good and the oxtails were so tender and falling off the bone. The rice was not dry at all, and the plantains were just so good and fresh. The Rasta pasta also taste amazing and is it definitely a must try. Then i had that fresh passion fruit to-wash all that food and it just brought everything together. Overall, I give Solange Caribbean cuisine a 10 out of 10 from their customer service to their food they delivered on all aspects. Make sure to come by and try for yourself!!

I’m was born in Jamaica and have been living in the United States since the mid eighties. I served in the US Army and travelled around the world and almost every state in the United States. I am on a road trip with family and friends going through 22 states including Toranto and Montreal Canada this month. We found Solange Caribbean restaurant in Philadelphia and enjoyed the food immensely. The food was delicious, plentiful, and the service was hospitable. The restaurant was very clean and presentable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone. You will not be disappointed. Thanks Solange!

I had came here from another state but it was a weird vibe when talking to the lady made conversation about the food and items but afterwards mentioned certain things what’s the best idea to the restaurant ms Ting kinda brush the customers off in a rude way just to serve a taste test customer it’s not business like I seen this brush off more then twice. I stop going because there are beta customers service in other restaurants I’ve been to and food have more flavor disappointed but it’s not for everyone.
