First time here for brunch. Service and food were excellent. The Banana Foster pancakes were fantastic. Really wanted to try the Mimosa Tower but needed to legally be able to drive home lol. Next time I will bring a designated driver.

Not the SoMo I remember. I booked this restaurant for my husband's birthday, and unfortunately the experience was just mediocre. I've been a few times years ago and loved it. The food was great and the ambiance was more romantic and intimate. This visit was quite the opposite, very loud and lacking that intimate atmosphere. Perhaps there's been a change in management; I'm not sure, but it didn't live up to my past experiences. Customer service and drinks were great! We ordered the lobster ravioli and the braised short ribs. The lobster ravioli was disappointing and the lobster was barely noticeable, and the dish was soupy. The short ribs were okay, but the standout parts of that dish were actually the mashed potatoes and broccoli rabe. Sad because I wanted it to be the intimate place I remembered but his birthday dinner but hey... it happens 🤷🏽♀️

My sister and I made reservations, so there was no wait upon arrival.
Food was delicious. I ordered the 100% beef meatballs that is served with a red sauce. I also ordered the linguini noodles with butter sauce, I was not sure the meatballs came with sauce, it did not say it on the menu. It was a wonderful portion, I had left overs the next day.
Unfortunately, I do not remember my servers name, but he was great. My sister and I are not complicated or rude, just a tad bit greedy. He was very patient and super friendly.
Would definitely dine here again.

We went to SOMO to celebrate my daugther's 18th birthday. It was a great atmosphere with a lively crowd but not too noisy. We were promptly sat (we did have a reservation for 7:30 pm on a Friday night) and our service was outstanding. The food came quickly and was delicious. I would recommend for a good casual meal.
