Stopped in here for what we thought would be an iconic Philly cheesesteak. What we got was a run of the mill steak sandwich with a small amount of onions , no sauce and service that was not friendly or helpful. The atmosphere is a throwback to days gone by but was not especially clean or well cared for. We would not return.

I’m from Philly and have lived here my whole life but I recently moved to the old city area and these are the absolute best cheesesteaks I’ve had thus far living here. I got one with cooper and one with cheese whiz, both with onions and hot peppers. Both great but the cooper was amazing, I’m still thinking of it days later. I also got fries. This will fill you up. 2 cheesesteaks + 2 fries and spent $38 all together.

I can’t help but kick myself for ever wasting money at Campos. What a disappointment that was! Their steaks were more bread than flavor—overpriced and underwhelming, with a texture that left me questioning why I bothered. I regret every penny spent there when I could’ve been savoring the real deal at Sonny’s instead. If you’re craving a steak that’ll leave you grinning ear to ear, do yourself a favor and head straight to Sonny’s Famous Steaks. You won’t look back!

It's been 9 years since I was here last. I live on the west coast. The Phillys still just as fantastic as I remember. I will always go out of my way to come here when we visit the east coast. We drove up from Maryland this trio. If you've never been here I recommend going out of your way to try it.

Great cheesesteak, fast friendly service. 5th star for a surprisingly clean bathroom for the middle of Philly. If they put that much care into the place itself not surprising the food was great.
Had a cheesesteak and it was pretty darn good. Fresh roll, good amount of cheese coverage and carmelized onions. I don’t know how people can get more than the sandwich at these places became it’s so darn filling.

The best burger in town hands down!!! Cheesesteaks cooked to order as well as the burgers. Fries and mozzarella sticks were awesome!! Free refills on your drinks so definitely worth the big bucks!!
