Delicious food, freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Our server, Justin, was fantastic and very helpful. Don't be alarmed when you pull up and see a huge parking lot as sure enough, the restaurant is there . Their outside space is massive but the inside restaurant is a bit on the small side. We were very impressed with everything and will be back!

Was very expensive for what it was. Menu was pretty small. Most expensive entree on the menu, Carne Asada, was inedible due to it being completely pink. The waitress said this was supposed to be "medium rare" but it was rare at best. I had told them ahead of time that the occasion was for our engagement, so they provided free champagne which was great, but for a $200 meal for three, none of us liked our food. Chips and salsa was $10. Chicken wing appetizer was fatty and bland. I let the waitress know we were unsatisfied, left them some feedback on Resy, and they didn't seem to want to rectify the situation. Not worth it for bad Mexican food in Kensington.

super cute place to go! I love coming because one the food is really good and two there is a lot of outdoor seating (covered and uncovered). Inside they have large tables for big groups of people and the doors to the outside open and shut. service is a little slow to start you off, plenty of time to figure out everything you want to order before they come back to take your order. the margs are well balanced. they source their corn from mexico and make all their stuff in house. we got four dishes to share and were very happy with the results. they have a parking lot which is nice to have someplace to park. overall this is a great option especially on a nice day!

I’ve been here a few times and each time was great. The food is awesome. The mussels were perfect and the guac and salsas were a great app. Drinks are also great.

We had a wonderful brunch at Sor Ynez on a recent visit to Philly. We chose it because of the outdoor heated patio, so that our granddog could come along, but I'd happily return for indoor dining. The servers could not have been more accommodating - including making the breakfast burrito into a vegan option for our daughter, and bringing water and treats for the dog - and everything we had was delicious. The tamales were the biggest hit, and very reasonable at $3 each. We got several different kinds and shared. Husband went for the decidedly un-Mexican pancakes (they did have some dulce de leche on top) and loved them. I went for fish tacos, which were delicious and had large pieces of deep fried fish and loads of toppings, but I did think they were a little overpriced. Daughter loved her burrito with chickpea scramble. FYI - Sor Ynez isn't easy to find, because it's in a strip of warehouses and we didn't notice a sign: I would have walked past except the person who recommended it mentioned it was next to an architectural salvage store (also worth a visit). Look for the brightly colored unit in the middle!

I had the pleasure of dining at Sor Ynez last night, and it's safe to say that this Mexican gem in Fishtown has left an indelible mark on my taste buds. From the moment you step through the door, you are enveloped in an inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Like really, who has a free parking lot in Fishtown, amazing! One of the standout features of Sor Ynez is its commitment to catering to diverse palates, including those with dietary preferences. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover a plethora of options that went beyond the typical cheese and bean combinations. The menu boasts an array of innovative and mouthwatering vegetarian and vegan choices, proving that plant-based dining can be just as indulgent and satisfying. The flavors at Sor Ynez are nothing short of spectacular. I wholeheartedly recommend Sor Ynez to anyone seeking an authentic Mexican culinary adventure.

Fun night out with family and friends! Very good Mexican food and excellent cocktails. This is probably one of the best Mexican food in town. Definitely worth the travel outside the city to taste it.

I had never heard of Sor Ynez and am so glad my friend had his birthday brunch there.Beautiful patio that is great for groups. Our server was lovely - attentive without being overbearing and very friendly. I ordered the guacamole to share with the table - yummy and good size to split. The breakfast down with bacon was amazing. The potatoes were well seasoned and crispy. The eggs were a little too runny for my preference, but still tasted great. Cannot wait to return!

It was ok. We went as soon as they opened up and the service was still slow despite only being one of two groups there. The food was ok, pricey for the portion and quality. It didn't knock it out park for me. It was $70 for brunch for 3 people.

Really wanted to love Sor Ynez, but our experience was underwhelming. We started off with the Mussels which were tasty. We then got the Quesabirria and Guacamole which were underwhelming and lacking the flavor we were looking for.
