Their food is good but it’s a shame their service sucks. Why do you have door dash delivery available when you wait 20-30 minutes to just cancel the order. They close the kitchen at random times, they’ll just cancel delivery orders after accepting them and you wait for the food. So much lost potential at this place. Do better management.

Busy but attentive. Great spot!

Beef is great, food is good with Frickles being amazing. Last 2x the service has been awful. Kitchen was on hold so no food, couldn't get a second beer and took forever to get the check and forever settle it. I'd love to recommend this place but I can't based on service.

Source Urban Brewery, Philadelphia, PA. I hate how much I enjoyed my visit to Source Urban Brewery. Why I wasn’t looking forward to this visit is a story for another time. The young women working this evening were awesomeness. I order the pretzel. It came with beer cheese. I told the young woman how much I loved beer cheese. She said it came with mustard and beer cheese but she could give me 2 beer cheeses. I said, ‘two beer cheese please.’ I have 3 beers each was better than the last. They all had a ton of flavor. They all tasted exactly as they were described. I think they are trying to be a higher end brewery. But, they have a big bar and you never what kind of crowd the Fillmore is going to bring in. Another young woman staffer told me she liked my shirt. If you follow me you know she won the shirt off my back—bonus video; 1. Win the shirt off my back shirt presentation. 2. Bathroom video.

$20 for a smash burger that had a hair on the plate....
Atmosphere is nice, but food not worth the price

Top quality food with even higher quality beer! Favorite brewery in the city

Larger brewery that seems to specialize in fruited beers. It was a nice departure from all the pils, makes and lagers I've been drinking. They weren't all sours or witbiers either. I ended up with the cherry limeade and a cloudberry. While both were sweet, they weren't overpowering. I loved the fresh cherry flavor in the limeade. Both were refreshing on a hot afternoon. The food menu looked appealing and I ended up with a pretzel as I often do. I saw several others ordering food that looked and smelled good.

Great space and broad selection. Includes four packs and bottles to go. Small menu with good options. Menu from 7/18/25.

Awesome place. Great food. Nice vibes. Sandwiches (smash burger and kicken chicken) blew us away. Definitely a beer and finger food spot though. Limited wine/cocktail selection. Will be back :)

Pretty good food, had crab cake sliders and a salad. Sliders were pretty good, salad was excellent. Service was quite good also.

This brewery has some of the best beer in the states in my opinion.

We have been to over 100 breweries and its not uncommon for us to find one amazing beer or good all around but its rare to find a tone of amazing beers and that is what we found.

Orange crush beer was amazing and if you like hazys with a very fruit forward taste (like me) this would be right down your ally.
The Peanutbutter porter had great smooth peanutbutter taste without bwing overwhelming or too sweet. I think peanutbutter is perfect for porters and this is a prome examplem. Also i am really bias tword draft over canned but the pog sour was the best sour i have had in a long time. The perfect mix of sweet and sour with deep passion fruit and orange flavors.

The staff is also phenomenal. Great with recommendations, super friendly and generous with samples. We talked to some of them for a long time while it was slower.

The atmosphere is pretty great too. Huge bar island with good seating, and plugs that makes it easy to talk with people. The obey thing with the bar I would change is how close the chairs are. They were almost all touching so getting in is tricky.

The internet was actually pretty good here too. We worked here for a few hours on a weekday and it was fast and quiet enough to work (though gets a bit louder later)

I will be back whenever I can and if I ever live in philly again this will be my spot.

The A/C was blasting. I'm not Mr. Freeze. I went specifically for the homemade pretzel. They were out. I asked for an interesting beer. I was stared at. The food was something I could make at home...but I'm from the South. Maybe we are arrogant, but a mom and pop Southern restaurant would have have run circles round this place. Slaw is slaw, baby. I ordered a chicken thigh sandwich with slaw. The chicken was soggy and there was no slaw. I give it a C.

We’ve been loyal customers of this brewery for several weeks now, often coming in with a group of 10–15 people on Wednesdays for their 6 wings for $6 special. We always made reservations, always tipped well, and always ordered plenty of additional full-priced food and drinks. Without fail, every visit had been fantastic—great food, great beer, and a genuinely fun and welcoming atmosphere.

Unfortunately, that all changed during our most recent visit. Without any notice or signage, the wing special was suddenly altered. Now, in order to qualify for the deal, you must purchase a specific beer—despite the brewery offering 15+ beer options, only one type qualifies. This was never communicated ahead of time, and frankly, it felt like a bait-and-switch.

To make matters worse, the food quality had noticeably dropped. Our wings were undercooked, and the rest of our meals were hit or miss. The service, which had previously been friendly and attentive, was slow and condescending. After weeks of being regulars and supporting the business with large group orders and generous tips, this sudden change in tone and quality was disappointing and frankly, off-putting.

We’re sad to say we won’t be returning and will be heading back to our old favorite, Kraftworks, where we know we’ll be treated well and the food and service remain consistently excellent.
