Thank you my blk brothers and sisters for destroying another Philadelphia landmark diner as well as making South St. a crime riddled area full of arrogant hoodrats. Thanks again.

The food was terrible! Lumpy grits, soggy waffle, everything was just bad. And the service... we were basically ignored the whole time we sat. No tea or coffee refills. Waitress was nice initially but, never checked on us not even once to see if we were good. And the manager was the rudest!!!. Plain out horrible experience. Never going back. I used to go here a lot over the years, but the place has really gone down. They need to shutdown and revamp their whole situation.

Solid, quality diner food. I had the southern omelette and home fries with a coffee. I will def be coming back. Servers were super nice.

I love this place always a good hearty meal.We Don't have many diners in Philadelphia and since the pandemic its hours are reduced but the food is the same. Delicious!!!

What a nice surprise! We stopped in for a bite to eat and to rest our bones for a minute, having been out riding our bike.Like a true diner, they serve breakfast 24hrs, so we had eggs and corned beef hash at 4pm. Very quiet that time of day, service was fast and let us alone!

This used to be such a poppin dinner and open 24hrs. Now it closes at 8 and is empty often. So sad. The food isn't bad. The service is ok. But the place looks like trash, is dirty, old, and gross. It doesn't feel retro or nostalgic, just old and neglected. Still, I hope it sticks around and finds a second life. South Street wouldn't be the same without a diner. But the way it's going, it doesn't look good.

For staters ,Me and my sister come here frequently our waitress is Knora she is great. We went there today 10/23/2022 @ 12:30 pm for lunch .We got told very rudely by a Child that was busing tables we have wait to be seated ., The table was dirty so we moved to a different seat the waitress comes over and says the child was told to speak to us that way very RUDE and she stated we were supposed to wait to be seated (NEVER HAD TO BEFORE). We ask for hamburgers WELL DONE THEY WEREN'T (VERY NASTY ) The soda was given to us in a paper cup IT WAS WARM ..That never happened before ..Today was the woresed day ever THE FOOD SUCKED AND THE DRINKS AS WELL AS THE WAITRESS we will not be back thereVery RUDE.More customers came in and was not told they have to wait to be seated .I guess my sister and I were singled out ..WILL NOT RETURN

Great little diner with all day breakfast. Old school atmosphere. Food was delicious and service was great!

It's a nice quite place to get a good omelet and my sister enjoyed their waffle. I shared a little with her, and it was pretty good.

It's a large restaurant and even though there was only 1 waitress we got great service. This is one of the better diners in the area. Full menu with lots of choices and diner selections that you expect and like. Reasonable pricing.

The food and service was great. We went the morning of the Philly 10k race. The cook was late, so it opened late. But I understand it happens.

Glad to see this place hasn't changed a bit. Used to come here all the time as a kid. The seats creak just right. The food is diner good, but not too good. The lamps are what really make the place feel like home. I bet if gordon ramsey tried to rehab this place he'd remove those lamps, but he'd be a fool for trying to. To any perspective customers, don't expect a michelin star meal, its a diner. Expect diner food and you'll be satisfied.

Great diner experience. Plenty of delicious coffee, so many breakfast choices. The waffles looked more like a dessert than breakfast and were delicious. The perfect stop to get you back on track after a long night out.

First time here the weather was great on saturday.I went in with 2 friends after painting with a twist about 5pm , the server was very accomadating. I ordered 3 stacks of hot cakes, turkey sausage, and lemon ade. My friend ordered the Cubano Paninie, and sweet ice tea, my sis inlaw ordered a chicken wrap ,coffee and water. The food potions are big. We were satisfied with the meals .We had to ask for water only to keep adding it to my lemon ade and my friend to her sweet tea because they were extremely sweet. But we enjoyed every part of being there. The server was awsome. Quick service too!On street parking. Thank you!
